"i got a phone call today from the district manager of the ann taylor loft here and she is looking for a store manager. a former manager of mine actually had recommended me for the position and i have an interview next week. it always feels good when someone tries to recruit you!!!! i have always worked at victorias secret and it would be weird to go somewhere else but if they offer it to me i am probably gonna do it. it makes me nervous to interview though so i hope i make a good impression. "Aww, vsgirl... being nervous on an interview is so counter-productive. Look at it this way in terms of having no reason to be nervous - you have a stable position now, so if you don't get the Ann Taylor position, what have you lost? You just gotta get yourself in the correct headspace, and there's no need for nervousness! Heyas all. Been lurking since I got my Linux box restored... been very busy too. Thinking of eod and sheena every day and intending they both stay on the mend. 24 hours from now Izzy and I will be heading for the airport. Woot. I cannot wait to be off work, though I know they're going to have me doing at least some work while we're in NOLA. *goes back to catch up with the last few pages* Do you find this valuable? |

He's turning 42 on 11/18 and he's not happy about it. It's just a number I keep telling him, but my hormones are making me complain about the dreaded 40s now too. It does blow getting older, but I'll never grow up. I'll always be a Toys R Us kid. :D Alrighty, gotta go. I'll pop back in later this afternoon hopefully. Smooches & tata for now. P.S. But...if we want to start discussing another wiki meet up, I have one...which I was really inspired to plan further after watching Kill Your Darlings last night! Vegas baby, Vegas baby, Vegas baby! Basically me, TypeO and Jess (WildCat) have decided to start planning a Vegas meetup in the Fall. That's like a year to plan, and somewhere I can drive, so I know I'll be able to go. Just throwing it out there ;-P I'm not sure what's happening with COmic Con but, it sounds like we missed the boat on getting good tickets already. Do you find this valuable? |

*Peeking back into VBB & sending HUGS to C4E, KCP, FDM & TVS* I wish you were meeting us in NOLA as well, but there's always 2010!I would definitely love to go to VEGAS next Autumn to meet up with more Wiki sisters/bros. Hopefully, eod and Sheena will be 100% by then and they can also make the trip out West. This does give us a year to save $ and plan. I think the Autumn meet up in Vegas would be much more feasible rather than Comic-Con. Wow...so one of the Gallo's (the wine makers) is in a meeting in our office right now, and in our parking lot is Mr. Gallo's Cadillac Escalade, complete with security guard. He literally drives around with a security guard? Insane!
