IATM - just to jump on the advice bandwagon (you'll get loads of it..LOL!) - I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years and was during my pregnancies too, but I agree you should eat what you crave... unless you have deep philosophical or religious reasons for not eating certain meats.

Doo - I don't know how you stuck to that diet - you should have been given a special award or something! I had the heightened sense of smell too. My husband did not eat chicken, any kind of seafood or any pickled foods during each of my pregnancies because the smell made me nauseous.

"Oooh, that's an intriguing question. Could it be that he was a particularly creative partier? Having been raised by Lorena, is it possible he had all kinds of wild scenarios up his sleeve?

I remember in that one flashback where he and Lorena had the couple in their house and Lorena killed the man while Bill bit the woman and then they had sex while the woman bled to death. Bill didn't look like anything less than a full-on participant. He reminded me of those kids everyone knows when growing up, the kind that do all kinds of wild things and entertain the pack, and they're the really daring child, the one who does things no one else would do but everyone is sort of entertained by.

I tend to theorize that Bill originally had minimal intention of mainstreaming but having Sookie's blood in him and knowing her has changed him. When he said "you're my miracle, Sookie", did he mean, "with you around me, I can do things I never was able to achieve previously"?

Is it possible he had something like a dichotomy inside him , that he didn't want to do the bad things sometimes, but other times he did, and being humanlike was nothing he could ever achieve for any length of time? Until he met Sookie? "

"You're totally right. So is Bill pansexual, like AB says all vamps are? Or at the very least, when he was a major partier, like in that flashback, was he pansexual then?"

I can put something together. I recently did a summary on another thread for a member who wanted to get up to speed. Rygee recently re-posted the maenad theory (I have those post#s noted)... MC has a link to a page which explains the Bill POV theory in detail...most of the other theories aren't as detailed...so it actually shouldn't be too bad. I might need some help on setting up an editable page on the Wiki. Just give me a few days. I just came back from Dr. to see what's going on - and the winner is: pneumonia! Tis the season! Actually, it's not too bad but I'll need to get caught up at work before tackling my Wiki project!

"They stopped their attempt to feed on Sookie the second Bill said she was his. As you said above, feeding on a human without permission from her vamp could get them into serious trouble with the Magister so I doubt they would ever risk doing such a thing.

The Magister would laugh a Bill out of court if he came before him and said 'the nesters keep coming near my human'. He would say "hellO, HUman". I can't imagine there's a law against it.

Bill's intention was to keep them away from Sookie so HE didn't look bad to Sookie by associating with them. And he used the threat of the queen to accomplish this, even though any other ordinary, young vamp off the street couldn't hope to pull that kind of trump."

"It was in the interviews posted on OnDemand when TB first started airing in the first season. To my knowledge, it's not been repeated since, though. So I'm guessing they're probably not going to exploit that vamp quality anytime soon or they'd be prepping us for it??"
