"They stopped their attempt to feed on Sookie the second Bill said she was his. As you said above, feeding on a human without permission from her vamp could get them into serious trouble with the Magister so I doubt they would ever risk doing such a thing.

The Magister would laugh a Bill out of court if he came before him and said 'the nesters keep coming near my human'. He would say "hellO, HUman". I can't imagine there's a law against it.

Bill's intention was to keep them away from Sookie so HE didn't look bad to Sookie by associating with them. And he used the threat of the queen to accomplish this, even though any other ordinary, young vamp off the street couldn't hope to pull that kind of trump."

Yes, but just to get back to the point (I think what was the point), if a vamp cannot ban another vamp from trying to seduce, glamour & otherwise "bother" their human then why would Bill even bring it up with Malcolm's group that he would go to a higher authority? I realize that Malcolm wasn't worried but he didn't laugh at Bill and say "There's no law against me going around her". As I mentioned, I think this law of theirs goes back to times when they were in hiding and a consistent food source was hard to come by. Vamps know vamps - and there is no harmless "going around" humans - they're not looking to discuss the weather with humans. Really the only purpose of sniffing around another vamp's human is to secure him/her for yourself. If Malcolm persisted, I think Bill might have a "claim" - although Malcolm may only get a warning or a reminder that if he actually does anything then he'll have his fangs ripped out.

Also, another thought behind Bill's warning is if Malcolm's group knew that Bill had worked for the Queen, they might think that she would take up the cause for him.

BTW Itsalltoomuch: Your baby wants IRON therefore the red meat. Are you taking prenatals with Iron? You might want to up the spinach too. I had Gestational Diabetes and had to eat very speific foods in a certain order "Think Akins for 9 mos" It Sucked, I could smell the cake isle all the way over in produce. Only Gained 11 lbs my 1st and 9 with my 2nd so that part was good. Quick deliveries too 3 hrs for baby 1 and 1 1/2 hourse for number 2. I guess I got those two bonuses for not being to eat like a pregnant woman. (Hated Green Olives Before, Love them now) This strange body thing is fun to relive through you/ "

i've been thinking last night about QSA role in inviting Quinn to tell Sookie that her services were needed in New O. i think she did that because she was once agian trying to block Eric access of Sookie. QSA used Bill & Quinn for her purpose. that was in DD & i think this has to be my least favorite of the books..

when Bill said a higher authority Malcom said he is not afraid of Eric & Bill said he wasent talking about Eric..so maybe Bill was talking about QSA a higher authority .. cause in the books there was no Magister right? i dont recall a Magister & at QSA trail for Murder there was no Magister..."

"he paid the fine to Hot Rain who was LS boss/sherrif or something like that. Hot Rain didnt feel that the fine was enough so he wanted to kill someone who meant so much to Eric like LS meant to him & Charles decided that was Sookie.. this is the plot the TB changed for s5.. Hot Rain will want to make an eye for an eye for Bill staking LS & Bill is a lesser vamp like Charles .. i think TB did s5 a disjustice for changing that. because in DAAD when this was all occuring Bill was already dating another women. so on TB i guess Bill will leave the other women to go hang out in Sookie's woods to protect her from Charles...lol !!

They were other royalties sitting with the Pythoness... I can't wait to see her on TB... an old, decrypted, blind vampire with wild white hair. I had such a mental image while reading the books that I can't wait to see what AB does with her.

Maybe they'll bring Charles in under a different scenario - maybe Eric will kill a vamp protecting Sookie this season or next, thereby setting up the revenge of that vamp's maker.... ohhh, what if Lorena's maker is still around? And he/she goes after Sookie? Nah, I can't imagine anyone being upset that Lorena gets staked! LOL.
