I agree about Bill - he went from Lorena to Malcolm's group who are the epitome of mainstreaming.. LOL. And his statement about "there are vampires such as I who live alone to retain some humanity"... I think we'll find that he was not living alone before Bon Temps and that will be another lie to add to the list...

"Caught that one too. Dont think Bill is there "Maistreaming" after doing it for a while...think it is his first attempt at it. He let things go too far.

BTW Itsalltoomuch: Your baby wants IRON therefore the red meat. Are you taking prenatals with Iron? You might want to up the spinach too. I had Gestational Diabetes and had to eat very speific foods in a certain order "Think Akins for 9 mos" It Sucked, I could smell the cake isle all the way over in produce. Only Gained 11 lbs my 1st and 9 with my 2nd so that part was good. Quick deliveries too 3 hrs for baby 1 and 1 1/2 hourse for number 2. I guess I got those two bonuses for not being to eat like a pregnant woman. (Hated Green Olives Before, Love them now) This strange body thing is fun to relive through you/ "

Also i think he got Sookies warning about people going after Diane, liam and Malcom. Funny how he never warned his own kind?! His old room mates.

"Comparing s1 eps against what we know from s2, I have found a lie or inconsistency from Bill in each one so far.

I keep thinking of how mean and angry he looked when Sookie broke up with him after the incident with the nesters. He went straight to the nest and warned them to stay away from him and Sookie, or he would consult a "higher authority". Since when would a queen care if three vampires got near some random human?"

I had to stop watching the episode last night due to hubby. But, for some reason I was thinking in that part he was referring to Eric (the Sheriff) and the fat that Malcolm's group was carelessly killing humans (Jerry & that fangbanger)... but since you just watched it I guess your recollection is better than mine.

RE: Bill lying about the difference between nesters & loners - I don't know. I think as you point out it depends on the vamp - especially the leader of the nest (what do you call that person?). But I think for someone relatively young like Bill, it's easier to mainstream if you're living alone, relatively secluded from other vamps & primarily interacting with humans. As you point out, Godric's nest looked pretty civilized (although Stan looked like he was about to blow at any minute).

"i actually just rewatched that episode yesterday...

Bill told them to stay away from him and Sookie, and they were all basically like "yeah, or what?" and he said there's a higher authority.

Then they go, "oh well he's not going to do anything" (meaning Eric) and Bill says, "no, even higher" (meaning the Queen). And once again they're like "well she doesn't care" or something like that. But all 3 of them look visibly distraught by Bill mentioning the Queen.

I think all that's referring to is that Sookie was "his" human and they have a sort of code or understanding that if a vamp claims a human, the others are supposed to live him/her alone. So I guess Bill is basically reminding them that they'll be in serious trouble if they violate that code."

"There has been nothing so far showing a vamp has to "stay away" from a human just because her vamp tells them to. A vamp can't feed on a human without permission from her vamp as we saw in the scene at Bill's house, but how could a young vamp like Bill tell his elder Malcolm he can't even come around Sookie? He can't tell his elder where he can and cannot go. Unless he has the backing of a 'higher authority' which is exactly the card he pulled."
