Sometime in the next few weeks (date TBA), the True Blood Wiki and all Wetpaint sites will be changing from dynamic page resizing to using a standard 1024 pixel fixed width.How will this affect you? You’ll be seeing all the pages on the Wiki transformed to a narrower format – but YOU and ONLY YOU can adjust your profile to this new format. How will you know if your profile fits the 1024 width? The Dexter wiki has already converted to a fixed width format. Go to: http://dexterwiki.sho.com/ Adjust your browser window size so that no gray borders show on either the left or right sides. Now go back to your True Blood Wiki profile. Edit your profile - reducing pictures, tables, formatting, etc. – to fit this size without a scroll bar on the bottom. The area of your profile should be approximately 564 pixels in width (not including the left ‘menu’ column or the right ‘friends’ column. In the short term, this adjustment may be a pain in the arse, but with patience we’ll all work through it together. Bodi 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

QUESTION: What will happen if you do not resize your profile?ANSWER: Anything beyond the fixed width on the right, will not appear. Any pictures, videos, friends menu, etc. will simply be cut off from viewing. You will still be capable of going into your profile and editing to a more narrow format. Do you find this valuable? |

Pardon my ignorance, but I do not know how to adjust my browser window size. I use the Firefox browser.

I have a wide screen and instead of having my browser fill up the entire screen, I have it in a reduced mode. In the upper right corner of your browser window, you should see a big red X and immediately to the left of the X is a second button that will show either one little box or two little boxes stacked. If that button shows two little boxes stacked, click on it - that will put you in the mode that you can adjust your browser window size. Take your mouse arrow and hover it over either the right or left edge of the browser. When you see the normal arrow turn into one that kinda looks like this ... <--> ... click on your mouse's left button and while holding it down, you'll be able to adjust the browser window either to the right or left. If you want to switch back into full screen mode, click the second upper right button that's showing a single box and that will take you back to full screen. And p.s.
