"Does anybody know if Season 3 will based on book 3 or book 4. It appears that there are some themes from book 3 appearing in season 2. So I'm not sure if season 3 will follow book 3 or 4. "it will be a little bit of both... this season they mixed up book 2 & 3.. they will mix up some of book 3 & 4.. sit back & wait who the pussylover is....... awsome! at times & not.. (IMO). but this is a statement to a question on a thread that was totaly towards AB... i just wanted to put my 2 cents in... & i did it without bad mouthing another character... whoops !!! this is not the thread for that...... this is the thread for asking questions & hopefully they get answered. but the pagan community seems to be sending messages out to those of us that dont agree with others on a thread when they make direct statements..... so lets see if AB answers why the pagan community is threating to close other ppl from the entire site because they dont agree with some & their opinions? AB why is this going on the HBO sites? do they expect us to all agree? do they expect us to be passive when attacked? we all love our characters & i dont understand why some ppl call the blog police to try to stop our opinions? can you AB explain this to me.. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. "Sookie does not 'hurt poor Bill'; If you are watching the show carefully this season you will see Bill's true colors are just beginning to show. Bill will only get what Bill deserves and if Alan Ball keeps to the book for Season 3, Bill gets dumped for his lies and betrayals."Bill's lies and betrayals? Sookie has already betrayed Bill. Remember when he comes home after having stood trial for rescuing her(staking the vampire that was attacking her) and she was making out with Sam. The only one who has betrayed anyone has been Sookie. 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

well after reading the Questions that many already posted:i would like to know why censoring in some threads are going on ( i thought we were all adults watching an adult show) but it appears that the blog police needs a fan club? & why did you change the blood exchange between the vamps & Sookie? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Alan,You have said in past interviews that the relationship between Bill and Sookie will be the core of the show, if that statement rings true don't you think the show will become boring and predictable if the fans know that Sookie will always go running back to Bill? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Hi! My name is Jon! I am a songwriter (mindfulmusic78)I have written 3 original songs inspired by the show! I was wondering if there was a way to submit them to someone,I have them posted here in the collections. Have the songs that roll at the end of the credits already been chosen for next season? If not do I have even a slight chance of perhaps getting one of them aired, hell I 'd even play em live on the set if that was a possibilty!! Do you find this valuable? |

you mention "pussylover" does that mean they finally bring "Buba" into the mix? When do we get to see the werewolves? I hope AB does not stray too far from the story line of the books. I love the story line of the books. While I do appreciate some of the decisions that have been made to alter the story a bit (e.g., keeping lafayette is good); I think it would be dangerous to stray too far from the books. After all, they have a huge following because the story overall is excellent! As a matter of fact, I can not wait for the upcoming book. Because of the series, I'm going back to re-read my books - I find myself getting confused with the movies and my memories from the books. Please do not get caught up too much in trying to please the HBO series fans; if you bring on the Eric/Sookie relationship too fast, viewers may get bored before you can get through the book series with the show. Stay true to the book material, highlighting or improving where the book storyline gets a bit weak. Keep up the great work!

Question for Alan Ball:I would love to see an interview in which you discuss the color imagery used in TB. For example, when Godric was on, he wore light colors, and Eric mostly had black on during that time. In Ep. 11, I noticed that Bill has on black, and Eric is now wearing light gray. It seems there is a lot of black, gray and white with red accents. I would like for Mr. Ball to discuss this, and is this a simple "good guys wear white (or gray)" and "bad guys wear black"? Thanks! I have read the books and am thoroughly enjoying your show!!! Do you find this valuable? |

I agree crazyforbill, I want sookie and bill to stay together. I do not see were bill is a liar. Everything he has kept from her he did for a reason. (I think because he thought she would not approve), but she found out and all is well. Thanks for a great show AB.Do you find this valuable? |

You must not read the books. Bill is portrayed quite differently. He's sneaky and lies to Sookie about the entire basis of their relationship. If AB keeps them together it will ruin the show and really upset the hard core book fans.
