I would like to ask Alan:

When Sookie ends up with someone else, you are not planning to send Bill to Peru to get him out of the way, are you? LOL Just don't make him a sniveling idiot. Or, hire me, and I can be his new girlfriend. LOL

Eggs said the guy came back from Peru when they moved into sookie's grans house, so I don't think Bill is going there.

Hi Mr Ball, You said at Comic Con that you would be portraying Season 3 re Sookie and Eric, as per the books. I can't believe you and the Writers have taken all the trouble to develop this deep love between them and then make Sookie into a "floose" and hurting Bill in such a way. It appears you have caved into all the pressure from "Eric| fans. You guys (Writers) are brilliant - there must be some way of working around it, keeping Bill and Sookie together without losing integrity ? Make them "investigators" for hire and send them out solving mysteries etc etc. Otherwise, you will make the Sookie character cheap and by hurting Bill in such a way - you will be kicking the underdog a few more kicks which he does not deserve . Don't get me wrong - I like the Eric character - just keep him in his place. Thank you. 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Sookie does not 'hurt poor Bill'; If you are watching the show carefully this season you will see Bill's true colors are just beginning to show. Bill will only get what Bill deserves and if Alan Ball keeps to the book for Season 3, Bill gets dumped for his lies and betrayals.

You're joking right...you need to read the book again and also remember this show is not word for word to the books...they are totatly seperate. The show is only a skeleton of the books and Charlaine Harris knows this and so does everyone else. If you try to compare the books to the show you will drive yourself nuts.

are you for real?

The show is based on the Books. the pressure from Eric fans? c'mon. we Eric fans have not yet had enough of Eric in the show. so far it's been the Bill & Sookie show. we Eric fans ( Me) cant stand that...

anyway! enough with the silly commentary.. AB why did you change the Blood exchange scenes so much? i mean at this point in the show we are in Episode 8 this sunday & Eric has not tasted Sookie's blood yet? whats up with that??? the writers are going to make Eric give her blood first before he even taste her? i dont like the order of the blood taste & giving... i think the writers should have him taste her first that would at least explain to some why he is so "curious" about her... because the post i'm responding to on this thread really doesnt get it..

I am not Mr Ball but Lizzie don't prejudge things. There is a lot about Bill that you are not yet aware and the character of Sookie is only begining to see that this gallant southern gentleman is not what he seems to be. At least with Eric Northman there is not the same kind of deciept and betrayal that she will know from Bill. Besides, nobody, even Mr.Ball has said Sookie is ending up with Eric, rather that there is a relationship that will be building. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

The Pagan community has been really supportive of your show - why are you showing Goddess worshippers - Amy, MaryAnn, Daphne, etc - in such a negative light? Isis, Gaia, etc. has NOTHING to do with human sacrifice or the Chrisitan devil. Lumping it all in together is so predictable - why not do something original?

And please tell Mr. Skarsgard he's not allow to get his hair cut anymore, because Eric has LONG HAIR, and that had better be the case in Season 3. Some things are non-negotiable. Even that awful wig was better than this season's hair.

Exactly...Freya is the Norse Goddess.....it would bring a new level of his character...it would fit in with a witch story line...just my opinion.

Sorry, but you must be high on something. Eric is the one deceiving, tricking and manipulating Sookie. Everything Bill does, he has a good reason for. I can't believe the Bill hate from some book lovers. I like the books too, but I love Bill and he is the one for Sookie. Sorry to tell you, but that's how it will be in the books too. Get a grip!

is this really a question? or a statement....
is this not off topic of the Thread?..... you are making a judgement of Eric & not staying focused on the topic.. since the pagans like to bring that up ...

Does anybody know if Season 3 will based on book 3 or book 4. It appears that there are some themes from book 3 appearing in season 2. So I'm not sure if season 3 will follow book 3 or 4. Do you find this valuable?
