Eric is hot and a force to be reckoned with his manhood and all, but he will never, never love Sookie like Bill does, period. I started to read the books, but stopped after the first....I think I should pick them up again! Bring on Season 2....the anticipation is killing me! I agree with you foreverbills, even though you can specualte that it is Lafayette, because of the finely painted toes that were shown at the end of season one. " No ,all the promos I've seen Sook and Eric still have a pretty adversarial relationship which is how it was in the early books. Sookie didnt' want to be anywhere around Eric and hated him ordering her around . They're still at that stage, I'm so looking forward to her slapping him! LOL! " Love triangles have been around for a very long time as a story telling device for a reason....they work. The major difference with the show is that if B/S breakup ,Bill won't drop off the radar like he did in the books since STephen is one of the stars. They'll keep him involved so that Sook has to deal with him on some level or we'll see him in other situations since we don't have to be limited by Sook's POV like in the books. I agree...you can't assume anything at this point! I am really hoping that Lafayette is alive and we all know how AB shows you certain things for a reason...trying to make you think things will go a certain way when it doesn't.
