Why is Stephen Moyer suddenly hairless? Someone waxed their chest over the summer. And, Eric CAN NOT cut his hair. Granted that wig is God awful and I am excited, thankful, thrilled you name it, that he has short hair. Looks great. But technically they can't change their appearance. Those scenes cracked me up. Naturally, I really enjoyed he Bill and Sookie sex scene as it is not only great to see them getting along but also because we got to see someone besides Jason (namely Bill) naked. I really loved it when Eric grabbed that redneck and made a meal out of him. I absolutely LOVED THAT scene. I think Anna needs to fake the passion a little more. Like maybe she could grab the pillows or something to indicate her climax or something. Bill is grabbing her all over and all she does is stupid little noises. She needs to be a little more verbal too. like a little Oh yes!!.. please! like that!!... type of thing?.... or am i asking for too much? Either way, she needs to get more into the sex and passion, she seems to be faking it..... I don't like Anna's acting much, specially during the sex scenes.... " yeah,I'm wondering if she's following direction on that though,that may not be her decisions. Some really good actors are actually bad at sex scenes though Johnny Depp is one, Russell Crowe another ,just off the top of my head. I love both actors and I've seen everything they've done,but they neither of them can do a sex scene that makes you feel it. I liked the reflection on the headboard,did anyone else catch that? The blood coming down was cool and the fact that he got it on her mouth...that was something that bugged me about their first time together,when he bit her ,licked up the blood then suddenly he didnt' have any on his mouth and didnt get any on her,so they fixed that thank goodness. Little things like that take you out of the moment you know? She seems to have gotten over any qualms about nudity, being around Stephen ,Alex and ummm goodness playing Jason,,,jeez I forgot his name...anyway ...when all your costars are getting naked,you probably just get over it ..... " I was thinking that too, but I guess the decision was made for the sake of the TV show that they can in fact change their appearance, contrary to what the books dictate. Love Erics new hair, the fact that Lafayette wants to become a vamp ...what a great season to look forward to!!!" I'm not thinking that Lafa WANTS to be a vamp, cuz he could have been one by now. I'm thinking Eric is probably talking about it being partially his fault that Eddie died and remember the magistre's lecture about vampire lowered numbers? Eddie has to be replaced ,so Lafa may offer as a way of "making it right" for Eric . Lafa has nothing to bargain with except his body and Eric will listen if it makes practical sense . Plus otherwise Lafa is probably dead anyway unless Eric was planning on just glamouring him once he had the info he needs . And I have a feeling ,no matter what cleaner Amy used in Jason's basement,a vampire could probably still smell that a vampire died down there ,but they'd have to get into the house first. He had just enough hair to be manly and not too much to look like a monkey man . I have a feeling Eric's hair will be temporary ,it'll grow out again and since we don't know the timeframe of these 12 episodes it may be long again by the end of this season. After all the complaining about the wig and Alex S. not liking wearing it (cuz it takes an hour to get into and its hot) ...this was what they came up with. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I'm assuming thats what the "highlight foil" is for, some new method they found to allow it to be cut so they can explain away an established part of the mythology. My guess at least. There is no bigger fan of this show or the books than I - read the books long before this show was ever made a series... But my point is if you're going to go through the trouble of having your character say last season that thankfully he was close shaven at the time of his death, and that he has sideburns because that was the style when he was alive over 100 years ago, (Bill), and then the next season you change the appearance of said characters, just like on "Lost" where everything is a clue, and we analyze the show and the meaning behind certain actions, then we have the right to ask questions or say - why did you make that leap... does it ruin my enjoyment of the show? Absolutely not. Does Alex look better with short hair - absolutely. But the appearance thing was mentioned last season... and Eric's long hair is iconic in the books. We're all fans here... Remember last season we were all complaining cuz some of the episodes were only clocking at 50 min and we felt ripped off? The episode would have been an hour without the 2 min prev season highlights ,so I'm hoping they keep up this timetable and don't start short changing us like last season.
