To Anna: Congratulations on winning the Golden Globe! How has it been playing Sookie, and what are you looking forward to filming the most (from the books) in the upcoming season(s)? Is there a particular scene you personally would insist is included and not changed from Living Dead in Dallas?

To Stephen: Have you read ahead in the series and seen where your character Bill is going and where he's come from, and what are your thoughts on who Bill really is?

To Alexander: If you have read past book 2, what do you think about who Eric is and how his level of involvement in the series grows so exponentially? (Also, I personally have read the books several times and could not imagine a better actor for the part of Eric Northman. Thank you for doing such an amazing job with one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.)

To Rutina: What do you think of Tara in the books Vs. the way she's written in the series? I personally love the way you've brought so much life to her, as Tara is a bit boring in the books. Though, if there's a Tara storyline you're looking forward to in the future (be it season 2 or beyond), which is it and why?

To Sam: What is your take on Sam and where he's going in the series Vs. the books? What did you think the first time you watched yourself "turn into a dog"? Are you looking forward to the other changes Sam will go through?

To Ryan: Jason is turning to the Fellowship of the Sun. What is your take on his sudden change in spirit? And, are you looking forward to the possibility of being a were-panther in upcoming seasons?

To Alan: Thank you so much for bringing this series to TV in such an amazing way. So often book series are picked up and then changed so they don't resemble the original source material in the slightest, and that is nowhere near the case with True Blood. I understand that deviations have to take place to make interesting TV, but you've done it so well. My only question for you is, if you do decide to deviate from the original source, will you keep us fans in mind? Especially when it comes to scenes with pink spandex? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

To the cast:

I know from a recent interview that Alexander Skarsgard has read the first five books in the series. Have the rest of you read any or all of the books in the series? If so which are your favorites?

How will Alan Ball deal with Bill's betrayal of Sookie. I had heard that he intends to focus much more and the Bill and Sookie relationship than the books do. Bill kind of retreats into the background after book 3. I am an avid Bill fan, but would very much like to see the relationship between Sookie and Eric played out. The love triagle would makes it more intense.

To people responsible for special effects:
If your vampires are going to fly in the next season, please make this more believable than in TBS1 when it didn't look like flying but riding on a trolley... Funny, but not convincing.

How are you going to juggle satisfying the Bill fans and the Eric fans without completely disappointing one of those groups?

Will Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) be donning pink spandex this season like he does in the second book? We all have our fingers crossed..seriously there is a large female population (and probably a small male one too) looking verrrrrrry forward to this scene. ;) Thank you for your time. 6  out of 6 found this valuable. My only question is for Allen Ball. Are you going to make Bill MIA like Charlaine Harris did, or are you going to break away from the books and keep Bill as a central character?
The reason that I am asking is the I KNOW there will be many fans who will stop watching the show, myself included, if Bill becomes a foot note character and Sookie ends up with Eric.. Like Charlaine, you made Bill such and central part of the story, and to do what Charlaine did and make him basically disappear would bring a lot of complaints from may a fan.

I have only one question for whoever wants to answer it. Are you going to include the character "Bubba" in the True Blood series or omit him altogether?

first i give a lot of props to Alan Ball for even doing true blood because i am a huge fan of the sookie stackhouse novels, and i think you are doing a great job

so i was wondering -- one of the other posts stated that "The reason that I am asking is the I KNOW there will be many fans who will stop watching the show, myself included, if Bill becomes a foot note character and Sookie ends up with Eric.. Like Charlaine, you made Bill such and central part of the story" so i was thinking that maybe if you still stayed true to 'Living Dead in Dallas' but not leaving out Bill Comptons character with showing the kidnapping of him, how it happened, how he was tortured, so Bill is still a central character but just not with sookie. because i have to say you did a great job in picking actors for this show, and i think you'll be able to make this work, because i have to admit i am an eric-sookie fan but Bill's character is still essential
--and i'm sorry i know this wasnt a question at all, but i had to get my thoughts across

First I would like to thank Alan Ball and the cast for a great season 1.
Now, Eric has developed a huge fan base and I am wondering if Alan will make any changes to his story line to accommodate what I believe is a major change in what was expected of the fans. The Eric fans want more of the "intimate" Eric/Sookie story, known in fandom as ESN (Eric/Sookie Nookie). We have been given a great love and bathroom scene with Bill but Mr Ball are you aware the bathtub scene with Eric is one of the most copied pics on the net? Just the idea of what that bathtub holds drives the Eric fans wild...please give us a some "piece" of mind and give us some Eric. Thank you.

To Allan Ball,

Many people got hooked on True Blood because of the amazing chemistry between Sookie & Bill (Anna and Stephen Moyer). I really hate to see it going away if the series turn this into Eric and Sookie story. Will you consider to expand Bill & Sookie's love story and taking creative direction of the character development outside the book storyline? You had done it amazingly in season 1 and I can see much better potential in season 2 as well.

To Allan Ball:

Nelsan Ellis played such a terrific Lafayette that I truly believe TB will suffer if he is written out of the show. Please tell us that you will be keeping him in the cast.

Also, PLEASE fix Bill and Eric's hair.

To Nelsan Ellis: You rock! Keep doing what you do, and I'll be looking for more of your performances.

To Stephen Moyer: I LOVE your Bill, and how you can say so much with such little dialogue, just by facial expression.

To Suzuki Ingersley: I want to be you.

To Duffy, the English Shepard: my dog Daisy would like to know how to be a star like you!

"
Ditto to all of these - Please keep Lafayette and bring sexy back... fix the hair - see episodes 1 and 2 for Bill. And while we're at it, please make Sookie more mature. :)
