Who do you think should play Alcide in the television series? I love his character and when I think of him I think of the actor Joe Manganiello (Owen, One Tree Hill), but I want to know what everyone else thinks of them. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I think David Redding from Deadwood would be an awesome choice. Look him up. He's all dark and he already looks like a werewolf. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

David Redding... looking him up... yeah, ok ... he fits - especially on his imdb page, and if you look at his myspace page, his pictures are 100% Alcide. He was on Deadwood and The Unit. HBO should recycle him into this show.

When I picture Alcide from the books, I envision someone like Gerard Butler. Kinda of rugard, but handsome. I mean, he's supposed to be a were wolf.
