"AHHH yay, BPRD! LOL!! Oh now THAT would be an AMAZING crossover!

"Miss Stackhouse, welcome to the BPRD. This is our lead Field Agent, Hellboy."

My speculation is that she will either end up with Bill, or she will be turned by Eric (hints have been in the books about her drinking from Eric 3 times and how she could be turned by him at any time, though maybe I'm overanalyzing)

AHH my mind needs to stop wandering into showdowns with HB and Eric... LOL!!!"
LOL,
Not the exact BPRD
(gawd- that would be a weird cross over...)
But something of similar ilk.
Supes are real in this world - you really think the Feds don't know?
Or aren't involved?
I really REALLY doubt that.

"I agree, why was Sookie having such a dry spell in Book 8. What would have been so bad about a 3 AM Booty call with Eric or Bill? (Forget Quinn, don't think the sex with him was that great, at least not in description). Another question are we done with Quinn and the Pelts? Sick of them both.

Especally when Eric made a perfectly salient suggestion:

The fandom actually leans far more to the Eric and Sookie team than the Bill and Sookie, and if the triangle heats up, it will start to lean more his way.

I still say the Vampwich is the way to go.

Morgaine you might be right but I am telling you from people I know who watch the TV series seem to like BILL and Sookie alot better than Eric and Sookie I know people who actually only watch it becuase of BILL seriously I know what the books go forward iwht however even in the voting on the site BILL won by a large percentage so maybe AB will change some of the next steps to keep viewers :) LOL
I mean he hasnt kept to the books 100% so far

I used to be all about Bill and Sookie too, but Bill in the series has already made the same fatal error the Bill in the book did. It's too late for him to come clean with Sookie and when she finds out why he's there, she's going to be humiliated, whether he intended that or not. He slept with her without telling her - that can't be undone.

Eric, on the other hand, is awesome and I haven't seen him do anything in the show that precludes his character from following the way of the books' Eric. He's not pretending to be someone he's not. He's right up front about what he wants. He's perfectly positioned to stand by and let Bill implode, and Bill seems to be most obliging in doing just that.

You can't base anything on the voting on that poll at this point - Eric has barely had 15 minutes on screen. The fact that he's getting any votes at all speaks volumes about his popularity.

AB has the unenviable task of keeping both camps happy - so triangle here we come. There WiLL be drama, rest assured. It's way too early for them to ride into the sunset. I just read that Anna Paquin signed a 7 year contract. Fasten your seatbelts, kids, it's going to be a wild ride.

Totally agree....that was the question I wanted to know too. I love Bill and Sookie together and yeah Eric is hot but I don't think Eric is unselfish enough to love her completely....I mean power is everything to him. Bill, while yes he did have a mission actually did fall in love and almost kill himself trying to save her, is probably thinking he is keeping her from more harm by not telling her about the queen. In the last episode when he said to her at the end,"I failed you" I think he meant alot more than just "Oh I did not save your life"........Eric has no humanity....he likes being a vampire.....Bill wants to feel human with Sookie....to feel love again.

OK, I just want to add to my post above this that yes Bill did hurt her but I think those kind of circumstances have happened to the majority of us all.....where you or your friend/spouse/lover has done something wrong and they don't tell you because they don't want to hurt you....I don't mean cheat but something like what Bill did (a lie that snowballs and you just can't face it)...he was sent AS A VAMPIRE to get to know Sookie.....he fell in love with her as a man (albeit dead). Love has no boundaries which is what Charlaine and Alan Ball are showing....it has problems but it can survive. I think people do not like Bill because of the books....they see Eric (WHEN HE LOST HIS MEMORY) as funny, kind, and caring......that is NOT Eric. Eric is out for Eric Bill wants Sookie's heart. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I disagree.

*Major spoilers*

Eric has real feelings for Sookie, (and he's had them since before he lost his memory) which is not something he's used to and not something he wants to admit because he thinks it would make him weak. However, he fell for her on his own terms and has never really kept anything from her. He has also always treated her with respect and honor - even when saving his own hide in the process, he always looks for the best solution for HER too.

Bill, on the other hand, was sent to find Sookie and seduce her. He kept major things from her, which is not the way to have a relationship (even if he's ordered to keep his mouth shut, he could still have offered her more of a clue). He also left her cold for Lorena (and he has never denied this, either. And he's had plenty of time to set the record straight), and was going to arrange to pay Sookie off, as if that would make up for him not being around. He's raped or came very close to raping Sookie on a couple of occasions too. Despite the fact that he's continued to profess his love for Sookie, he hasn't really done anything to prove it.

How do you ask her just one. I would ask her if Sookie and Eric have a book where they are togother and he knows who he is. because I am telling you I may just have to read that one over and over and over well you get the idea Do you find this valuable?

I agree with Morgaine for the most part. I definitely think, series wise, that bringing Jessica back to Bill is just one way of Eric's to throw a wrench in Bill and Sookie's relationship. Bill should've told Sookie about her. I concluded that he did not. So yes, without Sookie knowing the other reasons Bill is in Bon Temps, he has already shot himself in the foot. The books vs. series is another element. Yes, book one was followed somewhat closely, there were some major changes. And yes, in Eps. 11 & 12, book two started to come into play. Eric hasn't really had any screen time. And Morgaine is right, AB has to attempt to keep two camps happy. I am for the Vampwich. I don't what I would ask Charlaine at this point. I have so many questions. I would literally have to write a list. Book nine is going to give us some Eric background, which pleases me. However, I am glad that Charlaine said that Bill will play no small part. I love em' both. And someone mentioned about the pelts...Quinn is going to be in book nine according to CH. I am not really happy about that, he drove me nuts, and it was not in a good way.

Eric loves power, but in book eight he def shows that he can put Sookie above his ambition.

I seriously doubt that Bill wants to feel human, he is a vampire and only empathizes with select humans.

Also disagree but to each his own. Bill was summoned by Lorena and HAD to go. He never gave her name up to Lorena because he knew Lorena would kill her....I believe with my whole heart that he went to protect Sookie....he was not getting it on with Lorena. She was torturing him. That is so NOT cheating. As far as the rape....he had no idea it was Sookie in the trunk with him....we gotta remember, he is a vampire and was hungry. He stopped when he realized it was her. I think if Eric had to make a choice between power and Sookie, he would pick the power. Hasn't done anything to prove his love??????SERIOUSLY????? He went out in the sun for her..........I am pretty sure he wasn't thinking he needed to work on his tan!!! He was willing to give his life....sure a sheck sounds like a profession of love to me.

Actually, I just finished reading Club Dead again and Bill does confirm that he had been sleeping with Lorena. He withheld Sookie's name because he felt he owed her that much, since he had been planning on leaving her.

And, he didn't go out into the sun in the books, that was an AB added story line.
