Terri Botta's Fan Fiction: Let Love In

Ok, since we seem to be taking over the "Eric" pages with discussion of the story, I thought it might make a bit more sense to have a thread especially for her wonderful story, Let Love In. Anyone who is interested in a possible story of how the relationship between Eric & Sookie MAY turn out, check out:

And let me say, as a person who normally eschews fan fic - this one is GOOD! Except for chapter 10 - could have lived without that one, but I'm hoping 11 makes up for it. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I so heart this fanfic :) I'm really really hoping that ch 11 makes up for ch 10...I was on the verge of tears and madness about sookie...so selfish... grrr >:( 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Ahhh...I really hope that she is writing about Sookie furiously trying to find Eric and apologize so much to him and how he opens the bond back up and feels it from her heart and forgives her...I really don't think that I could stand reading two depressing chapters in a row...

I had posted in another thread (can't remember which one) on how I think ch11 should go between sookie n eric...? Do you find this valuable?

What I'm thinking would be really great...would be that she wakes up finding out that he's still not there...so she changes and goes to the main building and has a feeling -not her sensing him b/c he cut off the bond- but go to the statue of Hlin and finds him there and they end up talking about everything...that's what I think would be really great. Also if that were the case, then that means that they are supposed to be together b/c even w/o the bond, she was able to find him and they both realize it...awww...HAPPY ENDING!!! :-D 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Like I said in another thread (and in agreement with Morgy), as unhappy as it make us, there has to be trauma for resolution. This was serious Trauma (yeah, I'm using the capital letter there) and as a reward for all us Eric-Sookie fans going through that trauma with the characters, we deserve a MIGHTY happy resolution...
BUT part of me wants to have to work for it... if it resolves too quickly, it's a little disappointing. The girl, as much as I love Sookie, needs to learn a lesson through this and stop being such a brat! She needs to learn that Eric is Eric is Eric and will always be Eric whether he's with ehr or not and which is more painful... with him, or not? Do you find this valuable?

Just keep in mind... she's only really on her first full day there. She's got 3 more before she can go home (unless she pulls a Sookie and finds a way off the island).

I can't even begin to pull together all the different scenarios of what can/will happen. They're both too proud and while Eric has come to gripes with the fact that he's in love with her (even though he hasn't said it while in control of all his faculties) Sookie has not. So far the story has been wonderful and I'm curious whether Charlaine Harris has read any of it. =p Do you find this valuable?

I have not been a big fan of the fanfic as well, but this one is sooooo awesome!! I keep checking back frequently to see if she has posted the next chapter (2-3 times a day) I've become addicted. Keep up the wonderful fanfic Terri Do you find this valuable?

Wow, I just sat at work and read the whole thing. Now I'm just as sucked in as you guys.

And did a little checking up on the author, and it turns out we have a mutual friend on Myspace (that isn't Tom!) What a small world. Do you find this valuable?

Sookie does need to do her own sould searching now to find out what she really wants. She does need to see that if Eric does love her why he would not want her to be with him forever. So as much as i can understand her saying she wants to stay human, she is going to have to make a choice at some point and Eric can't promise her not to trun her if she changes her mind and that is what she want.
Her fit there was just stupid Sookie LOL Do you find this valuable?

He needs to come back before dawn and talk to her, because anything else is too long. It'll piss me off royally if she has to spend the day with him in that room. let alone him gone and her not knowing where he is. She IS a brat, but at a thousand years old, he should be able to deal with her better than shutting her out and running off into the night. Do you find this valuable?

Well...from what I gathered...it's prolly what maybe midnight b/c it was 9-ish when they went to the pianist concert and didn't stay long...then they had the amazing sex...soooo my guess no later than midnight...I'm thinking that he will come back and they will talk before he goes to sleep...I can kinda understand him running off into the night b/c he's 1000+ yrs old and he laid his heart out on the line for a human girl...and then she pretty much swept the rug out from underneath him...that stings when you're used to getting everything you want/need...and he's not used to that...poor Eric...come to my arms & I'll comfort you!!! :) Do you find this valuable?
