Thanks for starting this thread. I absolutely love the Twilight Saga and after finishing the last book, I was sort of sad b/c I knew there wouldn't be anymore to read. That's why I became such a fan of Trueblood and the CH books b/c it took the place of my vampire withdrawal. Although I want the movie to be true to the book, it seems there might be slight variations, esp after watching the couple of trailers for the movie.

The only difference I see and anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I don't remember any guards being killed by animals. Now I remember they were talking about the issues they were having in the woods in New Moon and Bella thought it was Jacob and his boys... Can anyone coroberate this for me or is that a part of the first book I obviously didn't pay much attention to? Uh oh... I feel a second read coming on... Any excuse is a good excuse right?!?!? I too was looking for something to read. Saw the Twilight trailer on you tube while looking for clips on trueblood. Decided to get the book and was able to finish the series in 1 week, couldn't put the books down. It is a very sweet love story and love the characters Bella and Edward. as well as the rest of the Cullen family. Can't wait for the movie to come out, but I still love my Sookie books.

Presale movie tickets went on sale in my area yesterday. Already bought tickets... Can't believe it's ony about 3 weeks away!! I'm excited, but totally obsessed with the Sookie Stackhouse story now. Twilight is great but I was glad to find another great vampire story to keep me busy while waiting for the Twilight movie.... The passion described in the Stackhouse story is truly amazing... I love the fact that there are so many characters in these books. It keeps you guessing all the way to the end...

"Possible Spoiler (IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS) No I know it wasn't the shapeshifters as they turn out to be... But in the trailer of the movie Charlie tells Bella that there was a guard killed at the mill by some sort of animal. Im thinking it is James and his coven but I don't remember that happening in the book... Do you find this valuable? |

From my understanding they are going to do it like the HP series and one movie will come out every year until the Saga's end... I can't wait either... I already have a coven of 6 escorting me to the premiere. We are all very very excited. I started re-reading the series yesterday...only this time Im gonna take it nice and slow...LOL Do you find this valuable? |

(sahm, I read at night...):)> When I saw the previews for Twilight it looked like a movie for me. I started reading Vampire Diaries but too tween pg10 for me. I am sure it is a great read, just not my speed. Any suggestions?:)>

If you are already watching the True Blood Series on HBO I recommend holding off on those books until the show goes on hiatus and reading during the break. Since the Twilight movie is coming out in less than 20 days I would recommend starting with the Twilight book, that way you are totally amped up as are we about the movie... Just my personal opinion Do you find this valuable? |

So what I do is DVR it and actually I don't get to see it until Monday and I refuse to read anything on the site until after I have watched it with my own 2 eyes. So if you post and I don't respond tomorrow you know why... Thank you for the compliment...very cool. Hey guys only 19 days left... I am so stoked... Yeah I need to get a life to, the sad thing is that I have 2 little ones and a husband. He yelled at me all the time when I was reading the Twilight Saga... We would go to the beach beautiful day, great water temp., great breeze and all I wanted to do was tan and read. Tan and read. He was hating me...LOL He is thrilled its over but he is still going with us to the movie. I think he is interested but he doesn't like to read. Some of us are just movie people and hey thats cool to, however you can get it ya know? I really got him into the HP series, I used to sit and read to him and before I knew it he was way more obsessed with the books than me... Funny. Do you find this valuable? |

I have to admit though it was Jacob my heart was with at the end. But once you read Breaking Dawn you realize it was all for a reason.Hey, T Cullen!... I thought that was cruel of Edward to take all her pictures and the CD he made for her ( thinking the reminders would hurt her, I guess)... he didn't consider that the reminders could have helped her get through it...I think the sudden complete withdrawal of him from her life was what sent her into that catatonic depression. It made me realize how removed Edward was from human emotions, or he was not thinking of what she might need, to gradually move on...I was upset with his lack of compassion. He was human once, right?... Reference your previous post, about reading the book at the beach, I totally would have done the same thing, if I was at a beach--read and bake!!! 19 days til the movie comes out!! woohoo!
