Count Saint-Germain series

This series began in the 1970's, and is written by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. I began reading these with HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, and have most of the books on my shelf. I think there are maybe 21 or 22 books in the series so far. Each is historically accurate since the author is an historian. Her vampire is is also an alchemist. He has a stong sense of right and wrong, and tries to assist humans whenever he is able without putting himself or his kind at risk. In this series, Vampires number far less than we are led to believe in more current series. Or perhaps it's just that Ms Yarbro has chosen to present her series without trying to outvamp the lead character. Her books are well researched, and are not in the same 'romance' category as the Southern Vampire Series, nor are they as sexual & sensual as the Anita Blake series. They can be a bit horrific, but I really enjoy them. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Love this books! I love that the stories alternate between Saint Germain and Olivia.!
From Blood Games on... I was hooked. Hotel Transylvania was the book that took vampires from scary to sexy for me!!!!!!
