Discussion: OMG

"Hey gals: when I realized that I needed to "beat Charlaine to the punch," so to speak, I decided to go ahead and finish Chapter 103, so if you search on that, you will go right to Sookie's first hunt. Enjoy, and I am working on Chapter 104 this weekend---we'll see what inspiration Mr. Moyer has for me on Sunday night!

"I read that Charlaine will never make Sookie a Vampire (not that that can't be changed by her in the future) but, this would be an absolute way to go if she did! That was awesome! I SOOOOO want to see a reunion with Bill & Sookie...I'm forever on Team Bill even though I love Eric too."

"I am getting a few private messages---which I do not mind at all---about "Sookie's big sadness" and why she was willing to be turned (Charlaine has said publicly that Sookie will never be a vampire). When Sookie tells Bill, it will be a direct spin-off from the "Mistletoe" short story collection (where Niall gives Sookie an unusual Christmas present) and Bill will be shocked and very, very angry. It will also be related to something Sam does, so there will be a double-whammy of sorts.

I'll give all ya'll a warning ahead of time, so if you are avoiding the books, you can skip these fanfics as well, since they are likely to take you into territory you have not yet explored (actually, I have alluded to several big events in the books, since Charlaine herself likes to "remind us of the past."

Anyway, thanks for all your guesses and suggestions---it is fun to share this process with ya'll.

If Ms. Harris doesn't put them back together then I will stop reading HER and only read what YOU write as long as you keep them as connected as they are now and don't let Sookie's stupid overblown pride get in the way. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for them to be together and as much in love as they are here. Real life doesn't have many happy endings so it's a treat when fictional characters I've become emotionally tied to do...Thank you, thank you... "

"Well, I think I've said this before here somewhere: what you have said is exactly why I needed to write these fanfics---I love Bill and Sookie together and I think they are destined for each other and make a great team to boot. I would like to plot out some actual adventures, but for right now, since Sookie is newly made, I see them spending lots of nights together falling in love all over again. And I see Sookie gaining some humility as she realizes all the things Bill has actually done for her...

I have been very lucky to have my own version of Bill for the past sixteen years, and he gets all the credit for teaching me some of things I've been writing about!
