Mari-Fae	Sookie Attacked by the Ratrays Sep 27 2008, 4:12 PM EDT Why is it that Sookie can read the Ratrays mind when they are going to Attack Bill, But, Does "read" that they are going to come back and do the same to her when she rescues Bill? But they did say to her that she'd "pay for that" ...the Ratray sister said when Sookie block her from getting Bill's Blood. Surely Things were going through her mind about getting back at Sookie during the Incident. Wouldn't Sookie pick up on that? After all.........She could hear "everyones" comments ( separate and mixed together) in the bar when she was just walking toward Bill when he came in. Post reply 1 out of 1 found this valuable. They said to her face what they intended - at least Denise Rattray did. Sookie is apparently not one to fear anything. Of course, she had already arranged to meet Bill when she was off of work. Oh yeah, that's right.....................Which would have made Sookie a bit reckless about protecting herself. ( I was beginning to think she had "selective Telepathy" )......and she did say she wasn't afraid of anything ( at least we know of ) to Bill. RE: Sookie Attacked by the Ratrays Oct 26 2008, 11:50 PM EDT The author says it best when she allows you to glimpse into Sookie's own mind: Sookie raised herself to block out thoughts, and what she does catch is energy that is "broadcasted". Some people are better "broadcasters" than others and some people "broadcast" at better times depending on their moods. Reading the books makes you think along the lines of the show a bit better.
