"I'm sorry to hear that in the books Lafayette dies and I think it'd be a good idea for the writers to keep him around longer 'cause I love his character. He is incredibly funny, I can always get a good laugh whenever he's in the scene. Like on the first episode and he was talking about the power of the p*ssy. lol"

That how i pictured him as well very small and femmine. I much prefer how he is on the show than in the books. I love this character I hope he makes it for the long hall...I'm looking forward to more scenes where he teases Sookie. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I LOVE Lafayette and loved him in the books. But the actor playing him is absolutely incredible. He couldn't be any more perfect as Lafayette in my opinion! 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree, really love him too. I love his personality, he would be sooo much fun. He has an interesting way of looking at things, which I really appreciate. So much more interesting than say Jason or even Sam at this point. He is a fine actor, hope we get to see him for awhile. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree with you. The show does bring Lafayette to life. And it will be a shame to lose him but its a part of the plot and you have to admit that the way he lives his life according to the show, its a miracle he has stayed alive as long as he has. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I think the actor they cast has done a spectacular job in expanding Lafayette's character even beyond what the script writers have done. That being said, I think he started slinking into some slimey issues with the last episode. I also thought it was prophetic of how long the producers are planning to keep his character around on the series, book or otherwise.

I must admit I am laughing as I agree totally. But all kidding aside I love his character. When he opens his door to Jason and of course how could u not notice his body, its perfect, anyway I got a kick out of his reaction, Lafayette that is and than Jason saying u have gold pants on....I have just finished the first book and he was only in a bit of it..Is he a bigger character in her others? But I do think he is comedic.. Do you find this valuable?

Lafayette is amazing, the actor brings so much to the role! His stint in the book series was short but my friends and I are constantly saying "I'll give you a lil' cocoa, a lil cocoa" all the time! I hope he stays on the show for awhile!!! Do you find this valuable?

I love him, too! He is so witty and engaging. I was not expecting the developments in "Mine", but I am glad his character is being developed. He is one of the people I enjoy the most who is not Bill! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Any speculation on who his v-juice "supplier" might be? From the dialogue, it sounded as though a vamp is supplying him.

I agree I love Lafayette in the show , when he's saying "Give ya some cocoa, give ya some cocoa" I was cracking up. But why did you picture him as fat and gross ? Remember in the books he was part of the underground sex scene in town. Do you find this valuable?

From the preview, it looks like we might get to see old Lafayette kicking some booty in a future episode. That should be interesting.

I know this is already a sickening LR lovefest but really, he is the best thing happening on the show. His character seems fascinating; kinda dirty but totally practical and wise. I didn't read the books so I was unaware he was supposed to be killed off - that just seems wrong. The creative team has spent so much time on developing a fully fleshed out character; he has a job as a cook, something on the side as a dealer, he also runs a website and turns tricks. We've scene him at each of his jobs, at a party with his cousin, flirting at work - hell, thats's more information and backstory than we currently have about any of the other people on the show, including Sookie. Which may be why he feels like an actual individual. Plus, and excuse me for not knowing the actor's name, that man is fantastic. So smooth and easy to watch. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
