"I really love how Eric spoils her rotten. The best is when he calls her "my lover". That makes me giggle every time."Me too! I'm currently reading the Anita Blake series and every time Jean-Claude says "ma petite" for some reason it reminds me of Eric and his "my lover" comments. I think because it ticks off the girl just as much. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It's a good story line with a lovable heroine. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Along the lines of the original thread... just finished book 3 tonight... in tears. For both of them. I don't hate him. I feel probably like Sookie does. Oh that poor girl. :'(

Even after the 6th book though you do start to like him again...he does try to win Sookie back...you'll just have to read it and see. I never hated Bill in any of the books. I thought he was a jerk in some of them, but in the 7th and 8th he starts to win you over again. I do admit I'm quite an Eric fan. His cockiness is just adorable instead of annoying...well still annoying, but in a likeable way, if that makes sense. :) 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

What he did in Mississippi was disgusting, but still hot somehow. I can see how he is appealing. I wouldn't mind a Bill and Eric sandwich. Mreow! Do you find this valuable? |

I can't see him as a villain.. Do you find this valuable? |

"Any other recommendation for good series? Now that i have read all these books I need something new. I am so anxious for more episodes that i can hardly stand it"Well, along the "adult" paranormal lines (but they can be very steamy, be forwarned) two other series that are quite addictive are Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter (the big book Acheron just came out in August- check my screen name to see just how much of a fan I am!) and JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood (insider guide due out in Oct.). Back onto the original thread- please don't abandon the series just because of the Sookie/ Bill thing. You'll miss a lot of new interesting people and developments. Soldier on, it's worth it! I never wavered in my fondness for Bill, always hoping that he would redeem himself somehow. Of course the schmexiness of Eric and other characters (think bald!) make up for the lack of Bill while Sook continues through the books. Do you find this valuable? |

I actually still like Bill and I think Sookie is too hard on him. He got put in a bad situation, but i do think he should be on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness. And i I don't ness. think they should be back together ( i love quinn and eric) but i miss having Bill in the book.

It's fairly obvious that, with the hierarchy among the vamps that Bill didn't have any choice in his "assignment". As for who Sookie ends up with eventually, well, Charlaine Harris isn't finished yet. I just finished the last book and every one I read I started with the terror that she was going to kill off either Bill or Eric. . Do you find this valuable? |

I am now on book 5 and getting sad that i will be done soon! I usually like to wait until all the books in the series are out before starting that way I don't have to wait for the author to finish writing! hahah Patient huh? But I really love all the other characters too, I think Pam is refreshing sometimes. I really like Alcide, and I think that Claudine is pretty interesting as well! As with any series, you get attached and you want to see something happen, but I think the best way to approach this is to know that regardless, it will be entertaining and you can always go back and read the books that contain more of who you like best ha

Does anyone remember who Maryanne is? I've read all 8 books so fast that they are all blending together now, so I guess I'll have to go back and start over at a slower pace. In the meantime, I noticed a character named Maryanne on the IMDB cast list and I can't remember who she is. ? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I've read those books numerous times and I cannot for the life of me remember a Maryanne. There was Maria Star Cooper, or maybe she was one of the were panthers. But that would be way too early in the series for either of those characters. She may just be a towns person friend of the Grandmothers.
