Moonlight VampiersVRS True Blood Vampiers
I love Bill and Mick both. Alex and Stephen both portray their character with such intensity and feeling, you just can't help getting "pulled in" by them. That is what good acting is all about.
Both are brooding, intense, and desperate to hold on to some part of their former humanity
which is what makes them so attractive and desirable. CBS was just plain stupid to cancel
Moonlight and I have since quit watching it since it was the only reason I watched it in the past.
It was awesome that True Blood came about soon after..... it filled the awful void left with not
having Moonlight. I am such a huge True Blood fan and am now reading the books and hope
that season 2 DELIVERS to us what the first season did. We need more of Sookie and Bill
together!!!!

Post your thoughts... This could get interesting?" I think season 1 is better, but just because It sucked me in soooo fast I was hooked in less than 5 minutes. I had never seen a show like TB, and I was instantly shocked about how amazing it was. Season 1 definately had its own authentic feel and that what drug me in, was that sweet OL lousianna feel. Alan captured it sooo perfectly. Season 2 was sooo good, but the reason I think people like season 1 more was because there wasnt 10 diffeent things going on, it had a nice flow to it, season 2 was hectic and crazy but still very amazing. Also season 2 didnt have as much of the lousianna feel I have come to LOVE. It was in dallas and I didnt dig the texas vibe as much. What makes a show it's own is the feel, At least in my opinion....I'm very comfortable watching True Blood and thats because of its fresh authentic ora. True Blood Will remain my favorite show until the end of it's days which I hope is never. I love alan ball for creating this amazing show.
Also Lafayette, Tara, and Sookie are my favorites...Lafayette is one o the funniest characters I'v eever seen on film. Favorite sex scence DEF. ERIC AND SOOKIE!!!

"That was exactly my point. I'm sorry if you think that was a big spoiler, I made a point of not saying what actually happens in the books. If the mods think it is a spoiler, they are free to delete it. I don't think it is any surprise to anyone watching the show that things differ, in many cases vastly, from books, but perhaps I'm wrong.
As for these threads, well I think they should be deleted because all this has pretty much been hashed out in the Team Eric v. Team Bill and similar threads and, they tend to lead to very ugly discussions." No, dear, didn't mean your reply was a spoiler, I meant these threads ("Reasons blah blah blah) are spoilers, and the example I gave was the comment above yours, from someone who haven't read the books and couldn't understand the point of these discussions.
We True Blood fans should understand that the show and the books are different things.

Reasons Eric and Sookie should be together...
I am worried about the True Blood Series NOT Following the books... WHY did they have Bill Save Sookie from Longshadow.. THAT 1 act of Eric saving her begins the pattern of Eric always being there for her. That is how they end up bonded. I know that sookie did not take Erics blood because of longshadow BUT if they are going to make a pattern of Bill saving Sookie I am afraid I might not watch it any more.. ALL of us that have read the books (over and over haha) are just waiting for the new book so they can have their talk.. The show JUST CANT go a different direction..

Well I'm not totally against their relationship but I can think of another character that would be SO much better for her. Alcide of course. I haven't gotten far into the series but they're perfect for each other." The author has somehow destroyed the possibility of them having a relationship, same thing happening to Quinn (book 8 and now this last one I think... )...
I used to love Alcide and that is why when I finished the books, before I watched True Blood I thought Sookie might marry a shape-shifter, not a vamp.
