Eric and Sookie NO SPOILERS HERE
Bookies - no spoilers here, just speculation, please.
Ok, in 104 Eric remarks that "our little zoo/menagerie is growing" to Pam in Swedish. Do you think Eric knows WHAT Sookie is? She doesn't even know - but he's from Europe and 1000 years old, and may have encountered creatures not normally found in the US or known as widely as people might know of Vampires. What do you all think?

"Pam's a little sexier than I pictured... I was thinking more along the lines of the girl that plays Juliet in psych... more innocent looking.
I read all the books after seeing the 1st episode... so as far as Bill, he's all I could picture....
I'm rooting for Eric, though. I got a thing for bad boys with a soft inner core." I started to read the books after I watched the first few episodes and now I am devastated because I feel so in love with the character of Bill (as played by Stephen Moyer) and have now discovered that he and Sookie do not end up together as the books progress. I cannot bear to think that he won't continue to be central to the show as it continues. I am so sorry I read the books and truly hope Alan Ball does not follow the story lines faithfully. I am depressed any advice?

POSSIBLE TRIBUNAL SPOILER -- MY THEORIES
Perhaps it will be such that turning the female should be like personalized punishment to Bill. Is it possible he'll be told to turn his "pet human", Sookie? And Eric, as Bill’s liege lord, will be told that if Bill doesn’t fulfill his sentence then Eric must execute Bill and fulfill the sentence himself? So they choose a substitute for Sookie?
OTHER POSSIBLE SPOILER THEORY
If Jessica isn’t going to turn as planned, perhaps she’ll be turned into something other than a vampire. Or perhaps she can’t be turned because she’s already a supernatural being of a different type.

Dissapointed with Charlaine Harris about Bill and Sookie
"hey thanks, already reading that thread! (wow another wasted evening hehe)" Good object corralled you over to the Speculations thread
This is what we talk about mostly and I love the books but they stand along as a funky, fun little paperback mystery series
But NOW I see them as the blueprint that Alan Ball and a very talented writing team are using to create a TV series
Sometimes they are the same sometimes they are different
Most of us bookies are alright with that ---
Sorry you don't like the books - that does usually happen over Charlaine treatment of Bill
It is a series about Sookie and her growth and discovery and bill plays an important part..i love her interactions with the other men and think they are important to her maturity …
I think Ball is a little more sympathetic to Bill so I expect TB will be more Bil heavy
But we already know from the casting that Bill will be returning to his lover and maker this year ( lorena who will try to kill Sookie) so Bill even has other women in his life who also make him grow as a character

"Amen!" Oh ty ty ty! Gosh you are so right Pellia and Deltachange. I am getting so frustrated about these "thinly veiled" Spoilers I was contemplating unsubscribing from frustration.
I'll stick around the Spoiler Free threads in hopes that most of the Spoilers have gotten the heads up. And I hope that your comments above were posted in the Spoiler rooms-to help us non bookies and Spoiler Free addicts out.

"What will happen to Bill at the tribunal?
Will Amy kill Eddie (Lafayette's big daddy vampire) or will Jason set him free?
I still ask again: Will Tara kill the demon or Miss Jeanette?
How will Sookie take the news about Sam?" What will happen to Bill at the tribunal? He will accept whatever verdict. What do I think? He will be scrouged with silver. Tara and Sookie are gonna crash the "party" Tara's demon will manifest and do to some prophesy (where's spellcheck dammit!) or intervention edict concerning humans- Bill's verdict will take a turn.
Will Amy kill Eddie (Lafayette's big daddy vampire) or will Jason set him free?
If trees are connected in the cycle of life, so should vampires. With Amy already showing her total neglect for what she 'preaches" : When Jason sees in front of his eyes her inhumanity..however Eric already gave a warning. Amy knows her time is short and will want to kill Eddie and talk Jason into leaving Bon Temp with her.
The demon in Tara won't be addressed for a few more episodes. And I think it will inhabit Ms. Jeanette.
hahaha Tara can take the news about Sam very well compared to everything else, Sam is mild. Bill looked Sam in the eye and said " you are the only one around here who can protect Sookie, and you're the only one I can ask. Will you do it?" And Sam replies " of course I will but for Sookie not for you." I think he, Tara, and Sookie are going to stand for Bill. Sam the most reluctant. But he'll do it.

BIG Spoilers....here are the descriptions for the next 4 episodes.
Thanks for posting this. I was so disappointed in last epi but now i can have some hope as it seems Alan is following the book ( somewhat) Maybe we will see Sookie running in the graveyard ( like we saw in one of the previews) . And we all know what is going to come ( the bookies know)

spoiler warning... is Alan Ball getting us ready?
"Come on guys, they have only really been together for 2 episodes and were already plotting their demise. I for one would really like to enjoy BIll and Sookie together for a while before we see them apart. Theyir relationship needs to develop a lot more. I don't think they are even close to getting old and I for one hope they end up togehter in the long term but in the short term I would just like to enjoy their awesome chemestry on the show for as long as possible." I'm with you on this! Come on let them develop a good relationship before you all kill them off or break them up. There are ways to keep them together and not turn it into a soap opera. ***SPOILER*** Bill will be going away in the next couple episodes so that will give them time apart and that is going to suck because in the beginning of last nights episode it wasn't worth a crap without Bill and Sookie together and Jason and this stupid stuff that him and this earth girl are doing is stupid!! AB could have done more with Bill and Sookie and left all that stuff out, just my opinion!!!

Do you think AB will give Jessica the Lorena-type role, as in she'll be the reason for the break-up? I can't see Sookie as being too forgiving that Bill turned someone, even if it WAS as a punishment.

i sure HOPE Lafayette is still alive or im gonna be pretty angry for a lil bit! I think we were set up to believe Bill fed on Lafayette, in which case I really dont think he would be turned...alive maybe. But I have a feeling maybe that WASN'T Bill rushing up on him...hmm...intriguing.
Terry and Arlene would be soooo cute!!
Sam does seem shook up..maybe he's just moving the money? Dont think he would bail on Sookie.
