What killed Lafayette? If he's even dead, which I think he is.... so sad seeing his pretty red toe nails hanging out like that! Loved what Alan did with Bill & Sookie, great season finale. I also like what he's done with Sam & Maryanne, keeping all of us on our toes since its not in the books. Sams definatly taking off somewhere, he grabbed all his money, he's gone. Didnt it sound like snarls coming up behind Lafa...??????

" TOO random for me. I just don't care about the egg. I think TB took a wrong turn with this story line and won't get out of the molasses pit until they end it. I like MeJane's theories above tho I hope Tara goes somewhere for a while LOL. I could use a season without Tara or her mother. I'm not so sure about Bill and the Queen being 'in cahoots' re Sookie. I think AB may keep Bill as the 'good guy'. I would love to get a hint of the weres yes.

I have read the previous comments and first, i think you all have good and valid opinions...but in my opinion in no way will Bill and Sookie stay together for another whole season....i would be very surprised if that happened...second i read one comment that said there are rumors going around that sookie will alread be on her way to rescue bill the first episode...i heard something much, much different.

I read that Bill will be kidnapped for literally half the season, or six episodes, and this was from an Alan Ball interview.

I can put something together. I recently did a summary on another thread for a member who wanted to get up to speed. Rygee recently re-posted the maenad theory (I have those post#s noted)... MC has a link to a page which explains the Bill POV theory in detail...most of the other theories aren't as detailed...so it actually shouldn't be too bad. I might need some help on setting up an editable page on the Wiki. Just give me a few days. I just came back from Dr. to see what's going on - and the winner is: pneumonia! Tis the season! Actually, it's not too bad but I'll need to get caught up at work before tackling my Wiki project!

"good point its all that Gran probably liked Bill because he was 'local' sort of.... but I thought Gran was a genuinely nice person and remember she had had a half fae lover herself so maybe that is why she was more accepting of the vamps and other supes than some others? Wonder what she would have thought of Eric??? I don't think she ever got to meet him did she? I can just imagine she and Eric sizing each other up... " It probably would have depended on how Eric decided to behave that particular day. Gran related to Bill cuz of they actually had some things in common (in her mind) ,culturally that is.
I've always felt QSA choosing Bill for this mission was a stroke of genius and it wasn't just cuz his house was so close , that just made it a perfect set up. QSA is a woman, has relationships with women and understands how to get close to one.
Let me throw something out there, one of the fanfic writers inserted an interesting theory into one of her stories. She thought that QSA sending Quinn to make her Rhodes job offer was deliberate . That she had the savvy to realize that Quinn and Sook were attracted enough to get involved . Not that Quinn was cognizant of this , not like the Edict , but that she would allow nature to take its course and try to reel Sookie in that way. Especially, since it appears QSA did not want Eric tied to Sookie in anyway. I always thought that Andre was doing that on his own at Rhodes. Eric is a powerful sheriff and a potential threat, QSA would not have wnated him to have control over her telepath , so having Quinn inserted in there created a nice "fence" ,yes?
I thought it was a good speculation and I wish I'd thought of it. LOL!

From the new TV Guide (hard copy issue):
Sam Trammmelll says that "Sam will transform into more than one new creature this season, including 'the smallest thing he's ever changed into.'"
Also:
Sam learns a lot from Daphne. "She opens him up."
And:
"Something physical and emotional happens to Sam in the next two episodes that has never happened to him before. It's huge."

Spoiler-Free: Mysteries and Theories
Wow. So many thought on these subjects.
I haven't read the books yet but I am gonna start after season 1 is over.
Where to start.
The Accident...I think the FOTS leader was killed by vampires. But none in LA. I do believe the accident was in another state altogether. It was a nationwide news channel that Sookie was watching. Not the local news. But I'm sure it was a group of pissed off vampires. Unless the bridge just collapsed on its own. It could happen. Naaaahhhhh.
Next..."She" I have not seen yet. But the replies from others have implied to me that it may be either the dog (which that is a whole other theory involving Sam) or the Queen.
Umm...Eric's hold over Bill. He is the oldest and I do believe from captions I've read and what I've observed from watching the 4th episode way to many times, he is the head of that area. He is the King.
Woo...The murders. I don't think they are vampire affiliated. No fresh bite marks and both girls were strangled. I hate to say it, but has everyone ruled out Tara as a suspect. She is infatuated and in love with Jason. A jealous rage maybe. Maybe she follows him and saw everything with Maudette and Dawn. And wanted to get them and Jason back. She wants him so badly she takes out his others. Maybe not her but not a vampire either.

Ready for Season 3 - start making predictions now.
"Definitely ok to repost. I got off 12 because there were a lot of arguing that came over form 10 thread so I just started this to have another place to chat:) There hasn't been lots of activity on here because I think most are still chatting about 3 on thread 12." Yeah, that was a good move getting away from thread 12, but it looks like that problem has been resolved...I think the lack of activity here is because most of the folks are on the OFFICIAL THREAD: Season 3 - Speculation, etc...
