True Blood Chat Rooms

The show is wonderful... i only wish they'd adhere more to the books. An episode isn't even an hour long and adding in so many side drama's really detracts some from the main story line. (everyone keeps saying it can't be all about Sookie and i can understand that but when is it really going to be ABOUT Sookie). I know it can't be all about Sookie but they've gone waaay to the extreme with their side stories to the point that the side stories have taken over the show. The side drama's have to me detracted from much of the true story. Everyone's commenting about Sookie and Eric but honestly because of the side drama's there has been very little Sookie and Eric, Sookie and bill or even Sookie and ANYONE.

I mean honestly it was enough making Tara a low class good for nothing tramp and changing her race (hello the book says olive skin)... but the storyline with her her mother was way too extreme.

The actor who plays Jason is perfect and is one of the few on the show who can really act but the story lines with him and v and now the church . He was enough of a playboy and male slut in the books they didn't need to take him this far to the extreme. His drinking and whoring around would have made a good enough filler.

There hasn't been enough Eric to really comment about his acting or interaction with the Sookie and Bill.

I love the show but can hardly relate it to the books at all except for the names of some of the characters.
