Chapter 1

Bill clung to the manuscript he found in the trash. He fell back onto his couch and began to read. The fire popped in the back of his mind and the warmth filled the room. He read through the pages, quickly, the rage stirred within him. The knock at the door tore his eyes from the pages. His face held no emotion as he stepped back, letting Sookie pass through the door. His eyes bore into her. Sookie sat down on the couch across from him. He picked the script up and continued to read. "What are you reading? Is it from those books?" His eyes peered at her over the top of the manuscript. "Yes, but this is the originally number nine, the one that was thrown away." Her eyebrows drew together "Were did you get that?" Again, he paused and peered up at her. "Does it matter?"

Sookie looked at him strangely. What had come over him? She sat quietly as he read. She watched him; his eyes scanning the pages, yet no expression masked his face. Bill finished reading; in three hours he had read the entire manuscript. He slowly lowered the papers to his lap. He stared at her and thumbed the staple that held the story of his life together. Harder he stroked the staple with his thumb; his eyes narrowed at her. His jaw was tight as his muscles twitched in his face. The staple finally gave way to his constant rubbing and fell to the floor making a load clang within his sensitive ears. Sookie jumped as he threw the papers over toward her. They unraveled and scattered in the air; at the same moment so did his patience. Sookie grabbed the papers that fell before her. Her eyes scanned them; her love with Eric, then her mouth gaped as she read her love for Bill. She looked up at him. Tears stung her eyes. "What does this mean?"

Bill stumbled back at her words; he knew it was too late, the words had been read. He fell to his knees. Sookie stood, fear gripped her has she watched the smoke sliver up from Bill's body. He sank to the floor. She knelt before him; his body still smoked. She blinked as she watched in disbelief; he seemed to disappear and reappear before her eyes. His eyes flew open. She jumped back from him as he rose like the dead. She pushed back with her feet scrambling to get away from him as her fear mounted. She slid on the pages scattered on the floor as she tried to steady herself. She clung to one page, desperately holding it tightly to her breast. Bill looked down at her. He twirled his head in a circular motion, stretching his dead muscles. "B...Bill, are you ok?" With a smile that would crumble stone, his voice raked across her. "I am now. You see darling, she intended on killing me and now that you and I have read her true intentions, I have been set free. I am dead and gone to her." She scrambled to her feet still clinging to the one page that she thought would change things. "To her, but not to me right...Bill?" He stared back at her. In two long strides his body pressed against hers.

His memory twitched. He always longed for her, wanting to feel her every minute of the day. Maybe he should think more like Eric; was she worthy of him? A coldness swept over him. The vampire within beckoned for release. It tugged at his control and began to feed his hunger. Sookie reached up to touch his face and he quickly backed away. He couldn't allow it, not now. He'd had enough! Sookie's expression was painful for him to see but it was about time someone else felt an ounce of pain. He was tired of carrying the load for everyone. "Bill, what is it?" His face turned to stone as he looked at her. "I'm done. I am tired of your games and I will play them no more. Go, NOW. Run to him...be with Eric." Sookie's expression was nothing less than shock. "Bill, you can't mean that." "Oh I mean it. You have trampled me through seven and a half books, no more."

Sookie pulled up the paper in her hand and looked down at it. Her eyes darted back up to his. "But I said I loved you, look, it's in here." He tore the paper from her grasp and tossed it into the fire. "You said it just before I turned to ashes. You're bonded to Eric, now go." "But...Bill!" She reached for him again. He grabbed her wrist and turned it, flying them both across the room he slammed them into the wall. "How does it feel to be pinned against a wall, Sookie? Are you wondering if I am going to kill you or let you go?" His eyes searched hers. He cursed his feelings for holding him back from her neck. She was still fragile to him, weaker.

He pushed his anger down but he could not hide it in his voice. "You feel your heart race, darling? That's the same feeling I felt every time you glanced at me. You feel your fear; it tightens your chest so you can't breath. That's how I felt every time I told you I loved you; I would do anything to lay with you one more time and I waited for your response." He pulled her up, pushing her toward the door. She ran toward the door pausing, daring to look back at him one last time before she ran for her life. Bill looked to the skies and roared. The sound shattered the air. Tears stung her eyes. She was foolish; why did she toy with him the way she did? She knew what she was doing, why... why did she act like a child? Now she knew she loved him, felt it, needed him to respond and he wanted no part of her. His voice rumbled out of his chest. "I said go! Run to your Viking and don't come back to me. If I want a pet, I will come for you." She ran out the door leaving it open. He watched as hysterics took over her. She sobbed uncontrollably in her car as she backed out of his drive. His face only twitched. The vampire within stroked him. He was hungry and no amount of bottled blood would quench the thirst that burned inside him. He smiled wickedly and opened his door, licking his fangs as his mind visualized his victim. It was time for him to have some fun; his vampire was ready to play.

Chapter 2

Bill walked out into the graveyard, breathing in the night air; his senses were alive again. He smelled the moss in the trees and the night jasmine blooming. He could even smell the dirt on the ground. His sight was more alert then it had been in years. The wind blew and another scent caught his sensitive nose. He closed his eyes and breathed in the aroma. His eyes opened, damn. It was her scent, the scent he loved, wanted. He knew he could not lie to himself. She had always been the one and would always be. Now, he would fill the empty space with others, with blood. His ears picked up the sound of her sobbing across the graveyard. His legs twitched but he fought the urge to run to her, not now. She had her chance, many chances. He needed a break from the constant tightness in his chest. Always wondering if he was doing and saying the right things, was he pleasing her. He was sure she never asked that of herself. Even when he went away, far in different states, countries, he always felt her. He would no longer leave his home to get away from her, to make things easier on her while she lay with Eric and the weretiger. He shook the thoughts out of his head and listened as her car pulled out of her drive. With every crunch of the gravel under her tires he felt hungrier; she brought him to this.

Sookie deposited her purse in Sam’s office; she jumped as her cell rang. “Yes Eric.” He had felt her anguish and knew all was right with him, why would she be upset? She brushed him off in a kind manner then closed the phone and slid it into her apron pocket. The back of her hands patted her eyes, wiping away the last of her tears. She grabbed her pad and went to wait on tables. Sookie looked around. The bar was crowded and there were waitresses she did not recognize. “Sam, what’s with all the new girls?” Sam slid a rum and coke across the bar then walked over to Sookie. “Not sure, I was flooded today with apps, and we need the help. They were willing to work for less money, all of them. So I hired them, all of them. They’re nice to look at too.” His smile held his intentions and Sookie shook her head, disapproving of his motive. He went back to the center of the bar and she couldn’t help but think; she had toyed with him too and now she was judging him for his “needs.” She needed to do some soul searching. Was this the person she truly was? She didn’t really think she was bad; she was just written that way.

Bill stood in front of Merlotte’s. He knew she was in there. Unfortunately this is the only place in town a vampire could go for a Tru Blood and human companionship. He wasn’t ready for a fangbanger. He still had standards. His mouth twitched; he struggled with the human feelings inside him. He regretted what he would do to the women he chose to take his rage out on. He questioned if he could hold himself back from killing them, something he had not done in a long time. His eyes scanned the parking lot like a predator, no victims out here.

Bill entered the bar. The waitresses turned their heads and stared like he sent them a signal, calling them to come to him. He slid into his usual booth. Sookie’s voice sparked inside his body as it usually did. “What can I get for you?” He didn’t look up at her. His voice was cold. “Another waitress.” Sookie’s head cocked back as he verbally slashed her. “Bill, that’s ridiculous. This is my job.” “I would like another waitress.” Sookie tightened her grip on the tray she held as one of the new waitresses stopped at the table. “I’m another waitress, will I do?” Bill raked his eyes over her and smiled. “Yes, you will do just fine. I’m Bill.” He held out his hand and she slid hers into his. Sookie watched as she closed her eyes at his touch. “I’m Cindy.” Sookie shifted her feet and looked down at Bill. “I can handle this…Cindy. Bill, you want a bottle of O-?” Bill’s smile was nothing less than deadly. “No. Cynthia…do you mind if I call you Cynthia?” She shook her head “no,” he could call her anything he wanted to. She was locked into his eyes, melting with every word that rolled from his lips. “What blood type are you, Cynthia?” “A…a.” Bill’s seductive voice rolled over her. “That’s nice, I like A. I will have a bottle of A please, positive or negative and… it doesn’t matter who gets it for me. But please hurry; I’m very hungry.” Cindy turned quickly, knocking into Sookie as she darted toward the bar. Sookie followed after her.

With all the confidence of a God, Bill leaned back into the seat, stretching his legs out until they touched the other side. He watched the two of them behind the bar. “That is my table ‘new girl,’ just back away.” Cindy scowled at Sookie’s words. “I don’t think so. You need the money that bad? What do you think he would have tipped you, two dollars? Here’s five, now move, I’m going to get me some of that.” Cindy shoved a five dollar bill into Sookie’s apron and tried to pass her. Sookie grabbed the Tru Blood, bringing her steps to a halt. “Get your hands off the bottle bitch!” Cindy’s words sparked the anger that lay just beneath her surface. “It’s not about the money Cindy. He is my…Bill is my ex and he has been acting weird. I want to talk to him.” Cindy had no compassion for her. She knew who he was and she knew what Sookie had put him through. She had been in town for awhile and small towns talk. She met Hoyt’s mom at the hairdresser's one day and she filled her ears full of the gossip between them. “Well, isn’t that sweet. But I saw the look in his eyes honey and I don’t think talking is what he had on his mind.” Cindy reached her free hand up and pried Sookie’s fingers from the bottle. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, you’re uh…ex, is hungry.”

Cindy sat the bottle on the table and slowly slid it toward him. Bill couldn’t help but smile as he gazed up at her. His sensitive hearing had picked up the conversation. “Thank you Cynthia.” “Can I get you anything else?” The wickedness climbed up into his face, lighting his eyes as he grinned. “I may need something later.” The room stopped, a presence filled the air. Everyone looked toward the door. You couldn’t miss a large Viking that filled the doorway. As Eric entered the room, everyone dropped their eyes from his massive figure and continued with their business. He slid into the seat across from Bill. His eyes searched for Sookie and he motioned for her to come to him. Bill nodded at Cindy and she walked away. Bill leaned back, sipping his Tru Blood; he stared at Eric. “I think you do that for dramatics Eric, pausing every time you enter a room.” Bill chuckled. He found it amusing how humans envisioned Eric. “What brings you out here tonight?” Sookie walked up to the table. Eric reached out for her hand. “Why, Sookie of course.” Bill had the urge to fly over the table and rip his throat out but this was her choice. He would have to remind himself of that every time he had the urge to kill Eric, no matter how much it pained him.

Eric looked up at Sookie; his hand came up and traced her cheek with the back of his fingers. “Get me a bottle of ‘O’ lover.” Bill’s rage built within him. He twisted his neck to ease the tightness of his muscles. His voice was deep but he made sure his face held no emotion. He would be damned if she knew it still killed him to see Eric touch her, it was by her choice, he reminded himself again. Bill stood and Eric flung his long legs up on the seat replacing Bills presence. “If the two of you will excuse me, I have to go sink my teeth into something.” Eric’s expression was smug as he raised his eyebrows. “Bill…playing vampire tonight?” His arrogance nauseated him. He wasn’t going to play the game, not tonight, never again; he turned and walked toward the bar. He felt Sookie’s eyes on him, can’t look at her. He struggled not to turn around to see what truth her eyes held.

He paused at the bar. “Sam, I’m parked in the back. Do you mind if I go out the back door?” “Not at all Bill. Are you ok? You seem different.” Bill’s face twitched, he felt different. “I am just tired of being toyed with.” Sam’s eyes looked over at Sookie then back to Bill. “I know what you mean. You have a good night Bill.” Bill nodded and walked toward the back. A hand slid over his as he reached for the knob on the door. The touch sent tiny bites of electricity instantly up his arm, as it always did. He did not turn to her. Avoiding her eyes as Sookie pulled him into Sam’s office, she shut the door and leaned against it. “Bill, will you not look at me?” He struggled inwardly. She was his weakness. He should just snap her neck now and be done with it. His eyes moved up from her stomach, so delicious. Slowly, his eyes drank in her beauty. Her breast rewarded his gaze as her nipples hardened and pressed against her cotton shirt, beckoning him to take them into his mouth. He leaned forward, placing his hands on the door one on each side of her face. She swallowed hard as he stared at the soft curve of her neck. Her heart beat wildly; her breath quickened. He leaned down to brush his lips across her skin; he froze as he stared at the healing bite marks on her neck. Not his marks, Eric’s, it was her choice. He spoke to the vampire within, calming it.

Sookie slid her fingers in his hair. She wanted him, desperately. She pushed his head toward her neck but he resisted. He slid his hand inside her shorts. Her breath caught in her throat as he rotated a finger on her nub. A moan escaped her throat as he coaxed her to come. He fought his urges. As she dug her nails into his arms, he dug his into the door feeling the splintered wood under his fingernails. The tightness in his pants was becoming unbearable. He needed release, not yet. The vampire within surfaced as he glared at Eric’s marks. She was almost there, just a couple more strokes. She gave her body over to him; tilting her head back, her eyes opened and gazed into a pair of cold eyes. Just as she reached her peak he pulled his hand from her. She searched his eyes with a bewildered look on her face. He stared back at her. Eric’s marks taunting him, snap her neck and be done with it, his rage called for him to end his torture. He grabbed her shoulders and peered down at her, wrestling with his control. His voice had become deep. “I can smell the Viking on your skin.”

His words hurt but they spoke the truth. “Sookie, move away from the door so I can leave.” He didn’t want to chance touching her again. He may take his vengeance out on her body, hard, relentless. “Bill, I’m sorry. I didn’t know what I was doing. He...he tricked me.” Bill looked at her with disgust. “You…want me to believe that? You, miss independent? Miss, “I am not naïve?” You’re becoming a wilted rose Sookie.” He stepped closer to her. She saw the anger in his eyes, the hurt. His eyes flickered and his fangs popped. “I have not forgotten that you are not naive, you are very smart Sookie. Now you stand before me, ready to betray Eric.” He stepped closer, pressing her against the door. His words came out through gritted teeth. “You bonded to him.” He picked her up and moved her away from the door. He was losing his control. It ticked inside him like a bomb. He paused before he walked out, his hand rested on the open door; he looked back at her. “You have more victims than some vampires I know.” He slammed the door behind him.

Bill pulled the car keys from his pocket. He had to get away, quickly. The urge to rage was growing. “Leaving so soon?” The voice asked from behind him. He turned toward Cindy. She was beautiful and the moon was lighting her up like it was showcasing a gift for him. She strolled to the front of the car running her fingers along the side. He parked way in the back under a big oak tree. The moss hung so low it almost touched the ground in some places. It sheltered them like a curtain. She leaned against the front of the car and looked back at him. “Nice BMW, it’s beautiful.” He flashed over to her and she flinched when he suddenly appeared in front of her. “I think you would make a nice hood ornament.” He stepped between her legs and slid his hands around to her ass. He pulled her up and sat her on the car, cupping the back of her neck and stared into her eyes. She was willing, but he struggled. He wanted to rip something to shreds, that’s what he needed to quench his thirst. He hesitated; she pulled his other hand up to her breast. His thumb rubbed over her taunt nipple. Her eyes sparkled with desire. His body took over. He needed release, needed to feed.

His lips burned into hers and she moaned at their touch. The fire built inside him. His hardness pushed against the fabric of his pants, begging to come out. He wanted to shove himself into her, hard, uncaring. The urges grew within him, still he held back. “Why do you hesitate? Is it because of her?” As if the mention of her name made her appear, Sookie stepped out the back door with Eric. His eyes burned holes into her as he watched her through the front window of the car. “Yes Cynthia, it is because of her. Because you are a beautiful creature and my hunger is too great right now. I mean you no harm and I am afraid I cannot be gentle with you.” Cindy had her own demons burning inside her and this is how she coped. This is the release she needed. She wanted to feel the pain of his bite. “Would it help if I told you I didn’t care if you think of her? Use me, I need this too.” He took his eyes away from Sookie then looked back down at the women he held in his arms. She leaned back and arched her back to him, pressing her warm sex against his erection. He pulled her up, burning a kiss onto her lips. “Then we have an agreement?” Cindy shook her head, unable to speak, unable to breath. The kiss was more then she expected.

He reached down and set his erection free. His hand slid into her shorts and he rubbed. He smiled at her. She was wet, ready; he could feel her ache for him. “Wait, can we go somewhere a little more…private?” Bill knew he should do that for her. As he watched Sookie stand on her toes to kiss Eric he crossed the line of reason. “There is no time for that.” He reached down and grabbed the wet material that blocked his way from entering her. He ripped her shorts and panties making them into a ragged skirt. All her breath left her body as he yanked her down, impaling her onto his shaft. She screamed out of sheer pleasure as he continued his assault on her body. He reached up, grabbing the fabric of her shirt and bra and tore them from her body. He looked back up through the window, Eric had sensed him. Sookie no doubt heard the scream of pleasure escape Cindy’s body.

He slid Cindy off the car and turned her around, pressing his palm between her shoulder blades he held her steady as he reentered her. He slid his hand across her delicate stomach and down to her wetness. She wiggled her hips on him, begging for more. She lifted her head and looked through the front window; her own little evil smile surfaced on her lips. Bill felt this and it set him on fire. He smiled out of the side of his mouth. “Do you see what I see Cynthia?” Damn, busted. “Yes.” He slammed into her. She reached a hand down, lacing her fingers into the front of the cars grill. Her other hand clawed at the hood trying to hold on as his speed increased, racking her nipples back and fourth over the cold steel. She was about to hit her peak. Bill put his hand on her throat, curling his long fingers around it to stroke her juggler vein. His lips brushed her shoulder then he glided them up to her neck. The excitement grew in her as her adrenaline raced through her body. His lips brushed her ear and she shuddered as his breath lifted the tiny hairs on her skin. “What do you see Cynthia?” She looked back through the front window at the two of them talking. She wondered why they still stood there talking. They both knew Bill was here and she was sure they both knew what he was doing. Why torture him like that. It fired something strange inside her, revenge. Not only for him, but for her; she had her own pain and this was helping, this is what she needed. He reached down and left a burning trail with his tongue as he licked between her shoulder blades. She was breathless with the peak of her orgasm as she tried to answer him. “I see betrayal. I see your pain.” She felt his body tense as he tilted her head to the side exposing the beautiful contour of her neck. Bill struck out with his fangs, harder then he should have. She came instantly as he penetrated her neck. Her sex milked him as her muscles tightened around him, coaxing him to come, begging him. She screamed out his name as loud as she could and they both watched through the front window as the two spectators turned their heads toward her cries. His body jerked against her as he came.

He pulled Cindy’s head back and grasped her neck again. “I want more Cynthia.” The first bite hurt like hell. She slid her hand over the raised hood ornament, clawing at it to braced herself. “What if I said no?” She was still breathless as she spoke but he could sense a hint of her teasing him in her tone. He slid his fingers down her neck, lightly, barely touching the skin; the tips of his fingers circled around the areola of her breast. Her nipples tightened. She leaned back into him. He rolled her nipples between his thumb and index finger. She moaned, then gasped as he pinched them hard, harder then he had ever touched Sookie’s. “Will you deny me?” His voice was deep and seductive. It echoed in her ears and made her crave more from him, anything he could give her she would take. “I will not deny you; take what you need to ease your pain.” “And yours.” He reminded her in a whisper. She screamed again as he penetrated her neck, squeezing her nipples at the same time. The sensation alone made her wet his shaft more as her muscles squeezed him once again.

They looked up and Sookie and Eric were gone. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her gently. “Thank you Cynthia. You saved me from doing something very bad tonight.” If she had only known how close he had come to killing tonight. When he opened his eyes and peered over her neck at Sookie as he fed, he wanted to drain her and snap her neck. He felt her body shake in his arms bringing him back from the rage that stirred within him. The rage still ticked in him. Tonight he was able to control it, but what will tomorrow bring?

Chapter 3

Bill raised the floorboard and climbed from his hidey-hole. He paused before he opened the door that lead out into the living room. He breathed in, her, why is she here? He opened the door, allowing his gaze to glide over her, beautiful. He stiffened his body, tilting his head down; he peered at her. “Why are you here? I could have had company.” She stood, but did not look at him. “Do you? I thought you preferred sex in the outdoors; why would you bring someone here?” She spit her words out, disgust riddled throughout her tone. In a flash he was in front of her. She held her breath as he stared down at her. He stepped forward, then began to walk her backward until she stopped at the wall. His rage ticked, how dare she.

His voice was low as he leaned into her, inches from her face, locked into her eyes. “Are you upset that I had sex outdoors? Or that it wasn’t with you?” She burned inside for him. That look, the intense stare he gave her, stroked her very soul. His lips were so close, kiss me. She said nothing. “You had sex with the Viking last night, I can smell it. Did you enjoy it?” “Bill!” He brushed his lips against hers and his body shuddered, damn her. “Tell me Sookie, when you’re with him and you close your eyes, who do you see?” The heat traveled up into her checks turning them red. His lips curved up in a knowing smile; he knew the answer without her saying it. She pushed her way past him and stood in the middle of the living room, putting the coffee table between them. “That’s an improper question. Did you enjoy sex with Cynthia?, Who did you see when you closed your eyes?”

Bill closed his eyes, his tongue slid out, slowly licking his lips. He remembered every second of it. “Oh…yes. I enjoyed it very much. I didn’t close my eyes Sookie, but I saw you.” He walked toward her and her heart began to race out of control. She should feel contempt, but for some reason she was hot right now, fire burned between her legs and her sex ached like never before. Again, she backed herself into the wall and he found himself inches from her. He grew hard and he pressed it against her. She parted her lips and drew in a breath as he leaned forward, his lips brushed her ear. “I saw you Sookie. I saw you kiss Eric when I slid into her wetness. I watched you as I stroked her nipples and made her come.” Sookie felt wrong, naughty. She knew she should be upset but she was wetter then she had ever been. She had no feelings of anger toward what he had done. He was her ex and he had no commitments to her. Bill looked into her eyes as he continued to speak. “She allowed me to take my rage out on her body, she soothed my inner beast; she prevented me from killing you both.” Now she knew something was wrong with her. She should be very frightened but all she could think about is being an inch from death in his arms, damn him. She was more upset about Cynthia soothing him then the actual act of sex.

Sookie wasn’t sure when she stopped breathing, but she felt dizzy from the lack of oxygen. “Sookie.” Bill seductively spoke her name. Her head lolled and she gazed up at him. He was going to take her, right here, right now against the wall. He would risk the death Eric would bring to him to be inside her one more time. Her choice, his mind echoed the words through his head as his lips left a trail of heat along her neck. He stopped at Eric’s marks, not his, Eric’s. He pulled his head back from her, his fangs retracted. He stared at her as the hurt washed over his face, fresh marks, Eric’s marks. It was her choice. She searched his eyes and saw nothing but pain. “Bill?” Soft as an angel’s breath her voice reached out to him. Her hand came up to caress his face and he seized it. His face turned cold to her once again. “Get out.” He pushed her hand away from him. He stayed against her body as she slid away from him. She reached the door and looked back at him. He still had not moved, holding his pose like she was still there. She closed the door behind her and laid her back against it, leaning her head back to rest on the door. Her hands rubbed the weathered wood. Paint chipped off underneath the delicate touch of her fingertips. She looked down at the chips of paint that now lay scattered on the wooden floorboards. She stared at the mess she made of Bill’s porch. She thought about the mess she made of Bill’s heart, his mind, his life. How do I fix this Gran?

Bill kept his hands on the door long after she left. As she leaned against the door, his hands reached out for her from the other side. He rested them there, feeling her heat through the wood; her sadness seeped in through the cracks in the wood and settled into the crack in his heart. Why had she come here, to torment him more? The rage surfaced, hunger, thirst. The urge to kill, to take his rage out intensified. It was blinding. He traveled in a speed he did not know he was capable of. He wanted to scream, to roar, kill, dismember. Must find her. He slid into his booth and Sam nodded toward him. Sookie turned to walk toward the table and paused; she caught his eyes searching and knew she would be no help to him. Besides, he searched for another. He wouldn’t let her help if she tried and she wanted to.

Bill looked up to three waitresses standing at his table when Cynthia came over and grabbed his hand. “Come with me my raging vampire.” Bill rose, but found he wasn’t in the mood for this. She led him out the back door and Sookie watched as the three other girls followed. Cynthia pushed him against the back wall and began pawing at him. Bill pushed back on her. “I’m sorry; I don’t think I am up to this tonight.” “Come on…” She started pulling up his shirt, digging her hands into his pants. His rage ticked at him. He pulled her hands up hard at the wrist and pulled her against him. “I said stop.” His rage boiled inside him, the urge to feed, sink his teeth into something. The three girls walked around the corner to where they were; he looked over at them and then back to Cynthia. “I brought friends. You have a very hardy appetite.” She bent her leg and rubbed her knee against his shaft which instantly hardened at the touch. He couldn’t fight the urge any longer. He forced her hand to his shaft. Encircling his fingers in her hair, he made a fist around her beautiful strand. She winced as he pulled her head back and then licked her neck from her shoulder blade to her chin. The other three girls surrounded him. Soon he had several hands stroking him. He laid his head back on the wall, opening his eyes to the night sky. They kissed and stroked him as he stared up. He wanted to ravish them all, hard, relentless. As he looked into the night sky, he caught a star twinkling back at him, he froze. He could take his rage, his anger, out on every one of these women, but only one deserved it. If he started traveling down this path now, he would never find peace. He searched the depths of his soul, her. Sookie is the one that he needed to let his rage out on but he shielded her from it every time. He would never be content until she was punished, until what she had done to him was rectified within his heart. He stared back at the star whose twinkle reminded him of the light that twinkles in Sookie’s eyes. Lips were on his chest, his neck, and his hardness through his pants. He was so hungry the urge was overwhelming to feed. “Stop.” He found his voice but they kept going. Louder he spoke. “Stop!” They pulled away and looked at him. “Get away from me, please, now.” He could kill them all right now the urge was so strong. All of them moved away but one brave soul, she dared to reach her hand out for him and he grabbed her by the throat, lifting her far above the ground. “One flick of my wrist and you are dead.” He needed to feed, the vampire within had surfaced. “Bill!” His head slow drifted over to the voice that called him. The source of his rage stood in his sight, yards away from him at the edge of the building. She held out a six pack of Tru Blood. Bill slowly lowered the girl in his hands that clawed at him for air. He looked to the skies and roared. He fixed his clothes while the others ran. Slowly, he walked toward Sookie. He waited for her to run, she should run.

Sookie couldn’t breathe as he slowly approached her. Why didn’t he do that speedy thing and be done with it? He was a vision of power, every muscle in his body taut and she ached for him. He backed her into the wall and peered down at her, kill her and be done with it. He reached out and grabbed her face. His long fingers rested on the back of her skull while his thumb stroked her jaw bone. “Come to me again and I go for your neck, with or without the Vikings marks, and I will not stop until you are mine.” He slammed his lips into hers, kissing her hard. He squeezed her cheeks until she painfully opened her mouth and he shoved his tongue inside, tasting her. He pulled away from her, leaving her breathless and wet. He ripped the Tru Blood from her hands; looking down at them for a brief moment, noticing that she had warmed them all for him. She stayed frozen against the wall, and in a flash… he was gone.

Two vampires pushed Eric and Bill to the center of the arena. They looked around as the others filtered forward, circling them, enclosing them inside a circle of death. The magistrate stared down at them. “I am getting tired of being called here for the two of you. It seems that I may have to be more creative with my punishment. Bill and Eric glanced at each other, exchanging a look of confusion; they had no idea why they had been brought to be judge. The magistrate leaned forward. His eyes held no compassion, his soul long dead to any feeling. He impatiently tapped his fingers on the tip of his cane. “It seems to me that there is a mortal, a human, a pet, that has been privileged to too much of our vampire societies inner workings. So privileged, that she crashed a hearing.” At the magistrate’s words, Bill’s heart sunk. His muscles tightened throughout his body, and a muscle ticked in his check. What has she done?

The vampires broke the circle they stood in and as Sookie’s body was pushed through the opening, Bills rage came forward. If they dared to hurt her, even scratch her, this would be they day that his existence would end. There was no more doubt in his mind that he needed to take out his pain, his rage on her, but if she died today, he would walk the earth as an empty soul for eternity. Sookie fell to the ground as the vampire behind her gave her one last shove to place her in front of the magistrate. Her hands slid in the gravel, tiny cuts forming from the rocks. Dust blew up around her, encircling her like a cloud of doom. Bill winced as he watched her fall; the shell of hatred that he had formed around him for her began to crack. He still harbored the pain, but there was no hate for this beautiful woman that was before him, his women, always his. He dared not look at her as she pulled herself to stand. His body ached to help her to her feet.

Sookie pulled herself to her feet and slapped her hands on her jeans, dust bellowed up as she patted them. She knew she made a grave mistake yesterday when she entered the tribunal that was in progress, but this is the only way she knew how to make things right. After seeing the look in Bill’s eyes last night, she went straight to the tribunal after he vanished from her sight. The magistrate looked down at her through cold blackened eyes. She swallowed hard. Out of all the vampires she had met, this man hand the most terrifying look of death. His eyes where black as the swap water and as relentless too. His voice cut through the air like a razor blade. “Tell us all what you so rudely interrupted us for yesterday. What was so important that a lowly human like you risked your life to come tell me?”

Sookie knew that vampire despised weakness. She stood tall and threw her shoulders back, chin high. She could feel Eric’s excitement running through her veins; this was from the bond they shared. Then she felt Bill. He followed Eric through her veins as her heart pumped harder, the feeling raced quickly throughout her entire body toppling over Eric’s bond; this was from the love she now knew ran through her veins for Bill. Sookie breathed in deeply, glancing around her at the many fangs that were eager to kill her. She swallowed hard. “I appologize for my intrusion on the tribunal; I meant no disrespect.” The vampires snickered, all but one. Bill’s chest bowed out, encouraging her. She had said the right thing. The magistrate leaned further out toward her. “If your reason for the interruption is worthy, then I may forgive you.” Bill felt so tense he thought he may turn to stone. Eric retained his relaxed demeanor, although Bill could sense a hint of concern within him.

Sookie stepped forward, unable to breath; her rapid heartbeat pulsed in her neck. “I came to you, to find out how to break a blood bond.” She could feel the excitement grow in the vampires around her as her last word left her lips. Bill silently gasped his eyes wide, utter disbelief washed over him. The magistrate laughed and stared down at her. “Well, you have brightened my day. Do you want the quickest way out of a blood bond?” His smile was deadly. Bill moved his eyes back and forth from the magistrate to Sookie. She had no idea what she was stepping into. He couldn’t take it any longer. Sookie opened her mouth to speak and Bill stepped forward and spoke over her words. “No. Respectfully, your magistrate, she knows not of our ways.” “Silence! If I wanted you to speak, I would have asked you to.” The magistrate burned holes into Bill, but he did not care. Bill glanced over at Sookie as he bowed his head to the magistrate, hoping she would understand what his eyes were trying to tell her. He stepped back into his place. Of all the vampires she knew, she couldn’t have asked one of them?

“Ladies and gentleman of the tribunal, we are about to have some fun. You Miss. Stackhouse have made this a very interesting night in such a boring town. You see human, there are only a couple ways out of a blood bond, and since you have been so brave to come to me for help, you will be choosing one of them tonight. Your death of course is the fastest way out. You can be made into a vampire, but then you could kill your regent or have someone kill him for you.” Eric stiffened as he eyed the crowd. The tension hung so thick within the circle the air became thin. Sookie found it hard to breath. She looked over at Eric; his eyes were hungry for her blood. He was very anger with her, she could tell that look anywhere. The magistrate continued. “Would anyone like to step forward and kill Eric for the exchange of his pet?” Bill’s body ached to step forward but he knew he couldn’t bet him, and there were only a couple vampires in the crowd that could. He sucked in a breath he did not need as he watched Eric’s anger grow. Eric didn’t like being controlled or challenged. Eric tilted his head and glared at the vampires in the crowed, then he returned his deadly stare to Sookie. She had never seen him this angry before.

The magistrate relaxed and leaned back in his chair as if he was watching a game. “Pity, no one steps forward for you. Choose your demise.” His evil grin chilled her to the bone. She looked over at Eric and then Bill as she took a step forward. She didn’t want to die. Her fear clinched her gut so tight she wanted to vomit. She wanted to run into Bill’s protective arms and stay there forever, forever. Her mind clicked as the magistrate’s voice broke through the cloudiness of her mind. “CHOOSE!” Tears filled her eyes; she opened her hands and held out her arms with palms up. Excepting defeat, she dropped to her knees and stared up at the magistrate. Her tears fell silently down her checks as she searched desperately for her voice. She straightened her posture and challenged the magistrate’s eyes. “I am ready to meet my maker.” The menacing sound that came from his lips riled the crowd. Bill flew in front of her. His nostrils flared and his rage came forward. “No. There is another way and all of you know it.”

The magistrate leaned forward, “It baffles me that two vampires can be enthralled by one female human.” Eric stepped forward, finally speaking. “One vampire, I am not enthralled by her.” The magistrate looked down at his handheld computer. He flipped through it until he found what he needed. Smiling, he continued his judgment. “But you bonded to her?” He fluttered his hands in the air, “I tire of the situation. It will now be settled. Eric Northman step forward. For her intrusion you own me fifty percent of your bar earnings for the next six months.” Eric’s fangs grew longer as his eyes widened at such a harsh sentence. He would surely punish Sookie for this. The magistrate turned his gaze to Bill. “Bill Compton step forward. For her intrusion you own me the death of a human. You have one week to kill a human and bring the body to me.” Bill’s fangs quickly retracted. The feeling hit him hard, not this. He knew the magistrate would always use ones weakness to punish them; but why punish an innocent human? For what? “Which one of you will step forward and claim her?” Neither of them moved; the crickets chirped in the distance as the silence lingered on. “If no one claims her, she will be made a child.” No matter how angry, how hurt he was, Bill could not let this happen. He knew she never wanted to be a vampire but yet she stood here in front of dozens that could kill her so quickly her heart would not make its next beat. She did all this to rid herself of Eric’s blood bond. But why? He did not know yet, later he would find out. She will owe him dearly for this, and so help him if she does something that hurt him again, he will make her a child himself.

Bill stepped forward. “I will claim her and pay the price. I also ask that Eric release her from her bond. All of us know it can be broken with the regent’s consent and time. Since he is very old it will take more then a year, but it can be broken.” The magistrate looked over at Eric, who simply nodded in agreement. “Very well, it is done. Bill, I expect to have a corpse presented to me within a week and make sure you keep your human in line.” Bill looked down into her big doe eyes, his face twitched with the slightest smile. “Oh, I will keep her in line. She is now in my debt and is to serve me as I wish.”

Chapter 4
The vampires left in speeds which surrounded them in dust. Sookie still kneeled on the ground as Eric hovered over her. She looked up at him; his blood reacting within her veins. She grabbed his leg, encircling her arms around him. His blood was hard to fight; it made her feel things that weren’t real. He bent his body down to her and stared into her eyes. “I was bored with you anyway. When you have been dead this long, one craves excitement and you are not that exciting.” He looked over at Bill whose face was masked with rage. “She is yours again Bill, but if I ever want her back, you won’t get in the way again; I will kill you for her next time.” Bill stepped closer to him. The two stood, inches from one anther. Bill’s eyes challenged him; he was done with the threats, the taunting, and the years of torment. “And I will kill you if you try. You will stay away from her, by the order of the magistrate, the bond will be broken.” Eric’s eyes widened at his words and he leaned into him. Out of fear and respect, Bill should have lowered his eyes, proving Eric is superior in power, but he did not. This time, he met his threatening eyes, staring him down. Sookie’s sobs broke the battle of power. Eric looked down at her wrapped around his leg. “See Bill, it is me she wants.” Bill gasped, as if a rubber band had been twisted too many times around his chest as he watched Sookie grovel at Eric’s feet. Eric reached down and pried her off his leg and turned. She lunged for him again and screamed his name. Bill grabbed her, falling to his knees as she struggled within his grip. His arms wrapped around her, pinning her arms to her side.

Bill knew it was Eric’s blood running through her veins that caused this reaction. That’s why they could not be permitted to be around each other until the bond was broken. The closer they are to each other the blood will react. With Sookie no longer taking his blood and the distance between them, soon she will be free from Eric’s hold. Bill knew all of this, but as he sat on the ground with her, he held her tight to keep her from running to him, Eric. It was like dying all over again. He fought his emotions, tucking them deep down inside, hardening himself to her. She will never hurt me again. The more distance Eric put between them, the more Sookie relaxed. The back of her head rested on Bill’s shoulder. She looked up into his eyes and he looked away from her. He stood abruptly, dropping her body to the ground, uncaring, cruel. His face twitched as he struggled with his emotions. Part of him wanted to kill her for what he is now forced to do for her. The other part wanted to pin her arms to the ground and ram himself inside her, savagely, claiming what was his. He suppressed everything, pushing it down into the depths of his soul. He stared down at her. “Get up.” His cold voice hung in the humid night air and clung to her like her sweat tinged shirt.

The pull of Eric’s blood still tingled in her veins but she fought it, now it was more controllable that he was gone. She was emotionally wiped out; just below the surface, anger pricked her skin. Feelings of regret, fear, loneliness and love pushed it to the top. She looked down, opening her hand to peer at a tiny dried out shell; it crumbled in her grasp, just as her relationship with Bill had. She tilted her hand; as each piece of shell fell to the ground, she could see each mistake they both made. Now their hearts lay shattered inside their chest; her heart was dead without him in it, his blackened and became cold with her in his. “I said get up.” His body itched to pick her up, still he could not allow himself to give in.

She looked up at him. Several times she had tried to talk to him, now she knew she was wrong for coming to him with Eric’s marks on her. The memory of the anguish that washed over his face each time tugged at her. If he only knew she used to wear his mark like a badge of honor; Eric’s marks were a badge of shame to her. The bond made her do things she would not normally do, but it was her choice. He was right, she was naive, still a little girl. “Go away Bill. Just leave me here.” “I can’t do that. I am now responsible for you.” Again the anger tugged at her. He reached down and grabbed her arm, only to have her rip it away from his grasp. “Leave me alone. Both you and Eric can go to hell.” The anger bubbled up and began to spew from her lips.
Before the next beat of her heart, she was standing, pressed up against him. Arms of steel wrapped around her, pinning her arms to her side. He glared down at her as she struggled in his grasp. “Darling, I am in hell and you are the fire that burns my soul.” His voice sent chills down her spine as she continued to struggle. He had changed so much, no more was he gentle. “Let me go Bill, I want to go home.” An evil laugh trickled from his lips. “If you don’t stop struggling, I am going to take you right here, Sookie.” His hardness grew as she wiggled against him. “Bill, stop it!” He pressed her tighter against his shaft. He needed to be inside her; he had waited so long to feel her again. She instantly stopped moving. Wetness seeped through her panties; her body never could resist his touch. His mouth found her neck as his body gave in to her closeness. “Bill, not here.” She whispered against his shoulder. “You have no say in the matter. You will do as I say.” His voice was husky, laced with lust. Her body told her to submit but her mind jumped to challenge his words. She pushed hard against him. He stumbled back. His face was like stone, his fangs glossy with need. “Don’t ever push me again Sookie or I will react and I don’t think you will like it.” She tuned away from him; her feet barely took two steps before he lifted her off the ground as he grasped her from underneath her arm. “Since you are so anxious to get home, let’s go.”

He walked quickly, dragging her behind as she stumbled to keep up. He flung her against the car and she stared at him. “I can drive myself home Bill.” His lips curled up in a dangerous smile. “If you think for one minute that I am letting you out of my sight, you are mistaken. Now get in the damn car.” He stepped closer to her, challenging her to disobey him. Her mind was swimming. Why wouldn’t he let her go? So he stepped forward and “claimed” her like a piece of luggage.

He saw the look on her face, she didn’t understand. She was probably downplaying the incident in her mind as he glared down at her. He was used to that. She never understood. He waited, she would disobey him and he expected it; this time he counted on it. This was one of the qualities he admired about her, although it usually got her in trouble. He loved her spirit, her willpower and now he set out to break it. “Bill, give me my keys and go away.” Yes. He knew it; she jumped to his challenge. “Sookie, this is your last chance to get in the car on your own free will.” Her mouth parted at his threat. “Bill, just because you “claimed” me here, doesn’t mean you own me.” That was it, snap. He reached to the back of her head and wrapped her beautiful stands of hair tightly in his grasp. He pulled her head back and pressed his body against her with a force that was making it hard for her to breath. “I haven’t begun to claim you yet. You will feel it when I do.” His voice became laced with desire as he tried to control the vampire within. It itched under his skin like a rash and she was the cream that would sooth it. “Sookie, you can either get in the car or I am going to fuck you so hard against it, you will need a skilled repairman to get the dents out that I will make with your body.”

He was a ticking time bomb. Deny me. His insides ached for her to disobey. He would take her; his erection grew harder at the thought and she felt its hardness throbbing against her. She swallowed hard as she stared into his eyes. Something in her begged her to challenge him. He deserved to ravish her, maybe even kill her. Reason circled her mind; again, this was her fault. “I’m getting in the car Bill. Let me go.” As he released her, it was like he ripped a piece of her out and took it with him as he backed away from her. She felt the void he caused inside her as she slid into the car. She leaned against the car door, exhausted. It had been a long night and the sun was approaching. The lull of the engine soothed. Her eyelids too heavy to open again, she slipped into sleep.

Bill looked at her angelic face. Twisted emotions battled inside him. He searched deep for the forgiveness he wanted to give her, nothing. Raw pain is the only thing he found in the depths of his soul. He would make it right, she will be his again. His eyes dropped to the curve of her breast then trailed down to the valley between her legs. Memories of her warmth surrounding his cock made it jump and harden in his pants. He pulled is eyes away from her and laid his head back on the headrest. His hands tightened around the steering wheel. The urge to reach down and relieve himself burned inside his veins. He applied the brake to turn the car into the drive. The movement of his leg rubbed his erection against his pants. A moan of frustration escaped his throat.

Sookie’s head lightly bounced against the window from the familiar bumps in the driveway. Her heavy lids fought to open, home. Her eyes flew open and she looked over at Bill, his home. His fangs were extended and his eyes were glossed over with need. “Bill, I want to go home.” He tilted his head, narrowing his eyes at her as he slowed the car to a stop in front of his house. “You are home.” A playful grin surfaced on his face. “We need to get this “claiming” business out of the way.” His words still hung in the air as she opened the door and bolted toward the graveyard. Her home was just across the way; run fast and don’t look back. Her body levitated as he grabbed her around the waist. She moved in a speed that made her dizzy. She was lightheaded as he spun her around to face him. She backed up until her back was against a concrete slab. She couldn’t breathe as he moved closer; his eyes focused on her like a predator before it strikes. Her hands went back against the concrete. The tips of her fingers nervously trailed over the stone, finding every imperfection in its dilapidated state.

Her body bent back over the stone as he towered over her. His nostrils flared, inhaling her scent, the excitement of the chase throbbed in his pants. “Bare your neck to me.” “I most certainly will not. Stop this, you’re scaring me.” He saw the frightened look in her; it excited him even more as the vampire surfaced. She looked like a mouse trapped in a corner waiting for the predator to pounce. She wouldn’t see his attack coming; he was too quick for the human eye. She cocked her head at him, struggling with her own anger. “I thought you didn’t want to touch me, Bill, especially with Eric’s marks on my neck.” She put her hands on his chest ready to push him back then remembered what he said. Her thoughts spun as she felt the pain from his fangs as they penetrated her neck.

Before she could blink, he had her neck back; and like a skilled marksman, his fangs hit their mark. Immense pleasure shuddered through his body as his fangs slid right into Eric’s marks, erasing them from her beautiful neck, his neck. He sucked hard. Her rigid body loosened in his arms. She surrendered to him. Detaching him from her neck would be like prying a gator’s mouth open. He pulled back and licked the wound. His body wanted more, much more. He had to gain control before he was lost to her. She always had this power over him, her touch; the feel of her body caused him to lose all reason. If he allowed this, he would be back at the beginning of their failed relationship. She would come out on top again and he would be in more pain than ever before. He would kill her this time, he was sure of it. He put his hands on the sides of her face. Her lips called to him, he allowed himself the pleasure of her kiss. His tongue flicked out and traced the contour of her lips. He gently pressed his lips against hers and she moaned under his touch. Damn her. It was much easier to be cold when she was angry with him. He peered into her eyes which pooled with tears. She missed his kiss, his touch.

She was exhausted and weakened by the blood he took. Her thoughts were tangled. She opened her mouth to speak and instantly regretted the word that came out. His body stiffened. His hands grabbed the stone behind them and it crumbled under his grasp. “Bill, I…I’m sorry.” “You called me Eric.” He grabbed her arm and pulled her up like a rag doll, yanking her toward his house. “Marking you was not enough; he needs to be stripped form your mind. Maybe if I crush your skull I can get him out of your head.” Fear jumped up, all reason lost, she ripped her arm from his grasp and ran.

He stood there and stared at the back of her as she ran from him. He shook his head at her stupidity. Did she forget that he just took blood from her, a lot of blood? She would never make it to her house. He began walking toward her, slowly. He didn’t have to worry about catching her; she would collapse before she got there. Her breathing was rapid as she ran. Tiny pricks of electricity began to bite her skin. Her head felt light, white dots appeared in front of her as blackness took over. She didn’t feel her body hit the ground. Everything was simply, gone.

Her eyes fluttered open, darkness. She lay slightly on her right side as she tried to focus on her surroundings. No light, just the realm of darkness surrounded her. Her finger on her right hand moved up and down feeling the surface underneath them. Dirt, where am I? Her body felt heavy against the hard ground beneath her. She was cold. Her right nipple brushed against something soft. She moved her right hand over and felt the soft blanket underneath her naked body. She tried to turn but something heavy held her in place. Her other hand came up she trailed it down her side until she got to the source of what held her down. She slid her hands across the object. Her mind still cloudy as she rubbed her hand back and forth, then her mind clicked as something hard throbbed on her backside. Her hand rubbed against flesh. She glided her hand backward over a strong muscle then continued back, Bill’s gorgeous ass, he was naked too. I must be in his secret place; his hidey-hole. She managed a little smile. He was kind enough to put a blanket down for her.

He moved his leg off her. His hand slid down over her thigh, wetness poured from her warmth. His mouth was at her ear. “Spread your legs for me.” Goose bumps blanketed her body. Her mind wanted to fight because of the way he had been acting but her body ached for him. She did nothing, silently she laid still. He was so tired from the night but he had to relieve the pressure throbbing in his groin. “I will take what is mine anyway, Sookie.” He pulled her thigh up placing it over his leg. His engorged flesh slid through her wetness. A deep growl rumbled in his chest as he waited at her entrance. He slid himself back and fourth sliding in the silkiness she created for him. Each time he slid through her wetness the head of his cock massaged her nub. His arm came across her chest and he pulled her closer to him. She parted her lips, drawing more oxygen into her lungs as the air became thin. She would come quickly. She had no willpower or energy to sustain her orgasm. He felt her rising. His lips pulled up into an evil grin, hidden by the darkness. “Sookie.” His voice stroked her nipples and they hardened to painful points. She wrapped her arm around his and dug her nails into his shoulder. She was there, just seconds away from blissful pleasure. “Sookie, you are not allowed to come.” He moved his shaft back, stealing it away from her nub, robbing her from her orgasms.

Her face went hot with shame. She wanted to beg him. Her hips itched to back into him and wiggle against his stiffness. Her body went rigged. Her hand went back and pushed against him, trying hard to move him. “Let me go Bill.” “Oh, but I’m not done yet.” His grip tightened around her. His need ached like never before. He hadn’t touched her in such a long time. She felt so good under his skin. His erection jumped against her warmth. “Bill, stop.” Damn her. He was tired and he wouldn’t forgive himself if he took her by force although the thought made his cock pound.

He began to move through her wetness again, she was soaked. “Your body tells me differently.” The more he toyed with her, the more urgent his need became. Again he felt her orgasm rise, and he was almost there too out of sheer excitement. He stopped. “You can’t come Sookie. You are denied that pleasure but you will not deny me.” One thing she couldn’t deny, strangly, she was more turned on then she had ever been. He couldn’t take it any longer. He grabbed her hand that rested on his arm and forced it to his cock. “Hold it tightly to you.” He breathed in her ear. He moved rapidly between her wetness and her soft hand. Her breathing became rapid gasps. He had to reach the edge first. He slammed his fangs into her neck. Her beautiful scream tingled through his body all the way down to his cock pushing him over the edge. His hips lunged forward as he spilled his seed onto her delicate stomach. With each pump of his seed his body bucked forward into hers. Her orgasm fell silent. He reached his just in time to stop hers. If he had more energy he would take her, burry himself inside her, claim her until she never whispered another mans name but his.

He pulled her leg down from his hip and put it back on top of her other leg. He continued to slide between her legs savoring the aftermath of his pleasure. He could feel the struggle within her. She wanted badly to enjoy what had happened but her shame would not let her. Part of her felt used. The other part felt like a beautiful sex object that was just used for his pleasure. She tightened the muscles in her legs in protest. “That’s enough Bill.” “You make me grow hard again when you tighten your muscles around me.” He was still sliding between her folds as her face still burned with shame. She wanted him to keep going, she wanted release and she wanted him to give it to her. She pushed back on him again. “Stop, you are cold and cruel.” “Yes, and whose fault is that?” She turned her head to look at him but saw nothing in the darkness. Still, she knew his face was close as her breath bounced off it when she spoke. “What have I done to make you so heartless and cruel?” He could see her just fine in the darkness. His hand came up and grabbed her face. His fingers pressed down upon her cheeks. “Let’s start with the most recent thing. I have to kill someone because of you.” His words bounced around in her mind like a pinball machine. “Well, I’m sorry Bill. I’m sorry you have to do that. I am sorry you have to choose someone to die.” His lips came down onto hers. He could feel her words and he knew she was sorry but he wasn’t about to do this alone. She needed to understand, for once; she needed to feel what he felt. “Sookie, I am not going to choose someone to die, you are.” While she was still stunned he bent down and kissed her one last time before turning his back on her and surrendering to sleep.
Chapter 5

Sookie lay awake for hours, staring into the darkness. Pictures of everyone she knew flashed through her mind. I can’t do this. I wont’ do this. Her internal struggle woke him from a deep sleep. He lay silent and still with his back to her, feeling the turmoil that brewed inside her. Then finally, after an hour, he felt her relax a little. She had come to a decision. He knew what her choice would be. He counted on her making this decision. His lips twitched into a wicked grin. He knew her well, even after all this time, he still knew her better then anyone else.

As she relaxed and gave into sleep, she felt an arm drape across her stomach. She was pulled back as Bill tucked her tightly into his lap. His hand slid up between her breasts and clung to her shoulder as he brought her into him even more. He held her tightly; afraid he might awaken, and find that it had been a dream. He had changed since the first he lay with her. The suffering had turned him cold. He felt different about a lot of things, mostly humans. And to him, death of a human was a small price to pay for her life. He would have gladly offered to kill ten of them just to feel what he was feeling now. The warmth of her body penetrated his, making his own blood feel warm, alive. Her soft folds as he slid between them tonight overshadowed any other pleasure he had experienced. Her moans teased his ears as he pleasured himself with her body. He ached to be inside her. Just thinking about spilling his seed in her hand and over her stomach made him grow hard with hunger. Her breathing fell into a rhythm of sleep and he moaned against her skin, pressing his hardness into her backside. She needed her rest, but he had to have some type of release. She sighed in her sleep and snuggled into his arm that rested under her neck. Her hair fell back as she moved, exposing her neck. He stared at her through the darkness; his keen sight watched as each strand of hair softly brushed her neck as it fell back. Almost as if they were sweeping her neck off and inviting him in, coaxing him toward the soft folds of her skin. His fangs slid out; he lowered his lips to her neck. He could already feel the sensation of her skin wrapping around his fangs. A low moan escaped his throat. His lips stayed still on her neck; they tingled as her pulse beat against them. He had to taste this spot, the spot that beat for him. Her lips parted. A sleepy whisper fell from her lips, “Yes.” His body shuddered. He placed his fangs on her skin, slowly, he pressed them down, inching them into her beautiful neck. His tongue came forward to catch the first drop of blood as she gasped in her sleep. He slid his fangs from the holes he made and covered his marks with his lips. At first he let her pulse pump the blood into his mouth; his arousal grew with each beat of her heart. He reached down and squeezed the head of his shaft as his seed threatened to spill. Feeding from her had always been pleasurable, but this time it was erotic. He knew she needed sleep; there would be plenty of time to take her, many times. He pressed his lips to the wound and sucked. Again she moaned in her sleep and he found himself, stroking his shaft at the sound. He pulled his lips from her neck and licked the wounds. He would have to wait for release. Although his shaft was throbbing in his hand, begging him to continue to stroke it, he wanted her to relieve him from the pain. He slid his arm back around her stomach and pulled her back into his lap. The sun will set soon and he will have her please him.

Sookie lifted the door to the hidey-hole; quietly she climbed out, looking back at him before she shut the door. Sometime during the night he retrieved a blanket for her and now it laid draped across his midsection. The rest of his body was bare and exposed to her eyes. She gazed at his masculine body, still on its side. She was encircled by his arms and his leg all night. She remembered him tucking her into his lap and she felt the hardness of his need grow and relax throughout the night. A tiny spot on her neck throbbed and she reached up to touch it. The pads of her fingers lightly drifted over the marks on her neck. She had dreamt of him biting her in such a seductive way; she remembered moaning in her sleep.

She reached for the knobs of the shower and turned them until steam rose from the heat of the water. As she slid the soapy cloth across her stomach she felt the redness climb into her cheeks. She recalled how hot she had been last night. What he did, what he made her do, it was one of the most exciting things she had ever done with a man. Even though he left her needing release and aching, she couldn’t believe how her body reacted to such a blatant act of selfishness. His need to release himself was so strong she felt it though her entire body and now she ached like he did. She found her hands gliding through the soap seeking her warmth. It throbbed for release. Her body awoke in a roused state and now it was peaking as the water beat down on her nipples causing them to harden to painful points. Normally she would pull away, feeling naughty and unclean for her thoughts. Now she couldn’t resist leaning into the water. She hadn’t felt like this since…the last time Bill had touched her. Only his touch made her body react like this. The water licked her nipples and she couldn’t help but moan.

Bill’s erection jumped as he watched her through the steam. He stood back and gazed at her; his eyes locked on her hands that had roamed below. He felt an urgency within her, it had woken him from his sleep, and now he knew what caused her pulse to race. Her lips parted as she leaned forward, putting her hand on the wall; her breathing became tiny gasps of air. He has fantasized about watching her do this and now he stood mesmerized by her movements. Every circle she made on her nub with her delicate fingers he felt on the head of his cock, which was now moist with desire. He felt the urge to stroke himself again and finish what he had started last night. He watched as she leaned forward, becoming more and more lost to her approaching orgasm. The water streamed down on her, circling her like a curtain of rain. The water turned into drops as it rolled down her skin. They dripped from her nose and her cheeks. He drew in a breath as he watched the water bead on a taut nipple, forming a drop that hung down, swelling as the water still streamed over her skin. His body twitched, begging him to go to her. He wanted to catch the drop falling from her nipple with this tongue then take the tautness between his teeth.

Her body had put him in a trance, and as he fought for control, he realized she was peaking and about to spill over with pleasure. He cursed himself. Why did she have to pick now to do this? As the water splashed off her back and onto his chest, his hand reached out to grab her arm. But he knew if he touched her skin he would be lost to her. He would slide his hand down between her legs and finish for her. “Sookie.” His voice was laced with lust. Her body came to a screeching halt; like someone accidentally touched the remote during the climax of a movie. SHIT! She turned to him, their eyes clashed; his hands lunged forward and grabbed her face bringing it forcefully to him. He devoured her lips. Years of pent-up need boiled inside him; again he struggled with his control. He turned her toward the wall and pressed her against it with his body. He pulled himself from her lips; his eyes darted to her lips then back to her eyes as the tip of his tongue traced the curve of her lips that were plump with desire. He felt his control slipping at the taste of her. He held himself back from her, placing his hands on the wall, one on each side of her head. He stared at her while he battled for control over his body. He leaned in, brushing his lips across her cheek then resting them on her ear. His breath rolled in the hollow of her ear as he spoke. “Stroke me.” Her nipples tightened at his words. “What about me? Are you denying me pleasure again?” He licked the spot that he feed from last night then trailed a line of kisses up to her ear again. “Yes, you are.” As long as he touched her she couldn’t catch her breath.

“I don’t think that’s fair, Bill” A deep laugh filtered up through him. He looked her in the eyes as he spoke, staring with an intensity that would make any other women drop to her knees to please him. “Fair Sookie? Do you want to start talking about what’s fair? You are in my debt, and this is how you will repay me.” Her mouth fell open at the gall of his words. “What if I refuse?” “I don’t think you want to do that. I have been known to be mean and a little violent without release.” She moved her body off the wall and took two steps toward the door. Her will to defy him intensified his lust for her. His hand reached back and shot up to the center of her chest while the rest of his body remained stagnate. He pushed her back against the wall and slid her back in front of him. Her eyes challenged him as he leaned closer to her. “How long do you expect me to repay you?” His jaw twitched as he pressed his teeth together. “Until you pay for the life of a human.” His words pained her. This was her fault, someone would die and she was the cause of it.

She pulled her eyes away from his, leaning her head to the side, she bared her neck to him. His fangs instantly popped and her body flinched. He was more powerful, more intimidating and more sexual then she had ever seen him. His body moved to the right as his knee went between her legs, bumping them open. His left hand slid down her hip then trailed over her stomach. When his fingers slid into her silkiness she pushed herself back toward the wall and hissed in a breath. He teased her with his hand. His voice became seductive, rough. “Sookie, look at me.” She turned her head back toward him, brushing his nose with hers as she met his eyes. He cupped her warmth; his eyes darkened as he plunged two fingers inside her. She was soaked, for him. As his fingers stroked the roof of her warmth her muscles tightened around his fingers. He slid his free hand behind her neck as her head lolled, bringing her eyes back to his. “Sookie, this is mine. No one is to ever touch it again but me. That goes for you too Sookie. Unless I ask you to, you cannot please yourself. And I will ask you to, when the time is right.” He briefly closed his eyes as the imagines of her fingers sliding through her wetness surfaced in his mind. His cock throbbed as if it had its own heartbeat. He wanted to take her, rough, relentlessly shove himself into her. But by the look in her eyes she would enjoy that too much and he was afraid he would push her over the edge of pleasure. Her eyes glazed over with desire sending electric shocks through his body. He couldn’t have forced her to do anything, not really, so when her eyes changed for him, he laid his cheek against hers and moaned into her ear. His hand pulled away from her warmth just as she thought her legs would buckle. She felt a void; an uncontrollable whimper fell from her lips setting him on fire. His hand grasped her breast and his mouth came down over her tight nipple. He flicked his tongue over it while he sucked. As he pulled back, keeping his suction, making her nipple grow longer, he lightly bit down. A sound of shock and pleasure escaped her; she curled her toes into the tile as he growled against her skin. “These are also…mine.” He couldn’t take the pain in his cock any longer. It begged for release. His tongue made a path between her breasts, over her collarbone and stopped at her delicate neck. He grabbed her left hand and placed it on his cock. “Stroke me.” As soon as her hands wrapped around his shaft he drew in a breath, his hands shot up to the tile, caging her between his arms. Her hands began to slide up and down as he clawed at the tile. His excitment grew with each stroke as he watched her. She stared down at her hand; her breathing had become as rapid as his. He closed his eyes and leaned his head against the tile next to hers. God, how could I be so excited over this, this simple act of watching her please me. She no longer cared about her pleasure. At this moment she was completely transfixed, staring at his hardness in her hand. This is the first time she had done this; she felt bad, naughty. She relished in the way it jumped and throbbed for her; she tightened her hand to feel more of his movements.

He slightly turned to the side so she could still watch his shaft as he bent down to her neck and moaned into her nape. He felt the urge to punch through the tile with his hands for leverage and burry himself inside her. His fingers scratched the tile as his pleasure rose. She picked up on his actions and stroked faster, squeezing him tighter. His lips moved back and fourth on her neck; his fangs needed her as well. He licked her skin. “This, is also mine.” When he sunk his fangs in, the blood poured out from her rapid pulse. Her knees buckled but he pulled her back up. “Don’t stop Sookie.” His voice was pleading; she found her arm reaching out and sliding around his waist. Her hand tightened around his shaft, coaxing it to come for her as her fingers lightly circled the small of his back. He moaned louder as her mouth touched his bicep, tracing the contour of his muscle with her tongue. His pleasure hit its peak; his right arm grabbed the towel rack at the end of the shower that he once cursed for its uselessness. Why would anyone want to put a dry towel into a shower? He now understood its purpose as he held onto it, lost to her. He raised his head to the ceiling and growled. She had complete control over him at this moment. He gave himself up to her as his cock gave in to her touch. His seed shot out in rapid burst and he grunted with each release, bucking his hips into her hand.

At the first pulse of his shaft she felt the muscles in her warmth pulsate. “Oh,God.” She threw her head back as her body began to climax. Frustration jabbed at her as the climax fell short of quenching her need. Now she ached more then ever. She wanted to grab his hand and shove it between her thighs and beg him to finish her off. He slid her further in front of him and reached down to his pulsing shaft. He guided it between her legs and her wetness wrapped around it like syrup. He moved his hips and she moaned at the sensation. He needed more of her but he had to keep control. He slid a hand up her back and rested it between her shoulder blades; the other hand held the back of her head. His mouth went to her neck and he slid his fangs back into her skin. He was driving her mad. Her nails dug into his arms and she threw her leg up to his hip. His motion stopped; his eyes went to hers as she tilted her hips forward. The head of his cock slipped into her warmth. His body ached to bury it inside her and consume her body; his heat ached for her to touch it again. He pulled away from her. His mind was dazed; he had come hard, into her soft hand and it excited him beyond comprehension.

“Sookie, you can’t come.” His jaw tightened and her eyes went cold. She pushed him back. “Then stop touching me. Get out of the shower so I can wash myself.” His lips pulled into a wicked smile. “Oh, no. I don’t trust you to be alone with yourself in the shower. I made the mess, I will clean you.” He grabbed her body wash that he had brought over during the night and squeezed it onto her pink mesh sponge. He circled her stomach as he began to clean her. She grabbed his hand to stop his motion. “Bill you need to stop touching me.” His head pulled back and he looked at her strangly. Could she be that aroused? “Sookie, I will give you what you want as soon as we are finished with the tribunal sentence.” She pulled the sponge from his hands. “I can assure you that I won’t want it then, especially from you.” “I’ll take that bet.” He pressed his lips against hers and even though she pulled away from him, he felt her struggle. She had hesitated. Damn him.

Chapter 6

Three more days had past. Bill had not asked about her choice, but tonight he would. He only had two days left to bring a corpse to the magistrate. Sookie had pretty much obeyed him so far. He found it had gotten too hard to control the urge to rip into her flesh and savagely take her body so he kept the contact with her down to a minimum. He hadn’t had an orgasm in two days and he ached again. Every evening he woke to find himself rock hard against her skin. The smell of her hair lingered in his hidey-hole. He had denied her the sleeping comforts of a bed. And for the last three days he had put her on a high protein diet, shakes only. He made sure she had vitamins and everything was safe that she put into her body. He would know right away if something was wrong when he tasted her blood, and so far, she has stayed perfectly balanced. She was learning what it was like to be like him, a vampire. Soon, she would learn the most vital part of being a vampire. Tonight he must prepare for their task. He grabbed a shovel and made his way through the dark in his backyard. His lip curled up as the tip of the shovel pierced the ground. He knew her well, better then she knew herself, and his excitement grew. He couldn’t wait to see her tonight, to see the expressions on her face change and her pulse race when they discussed their task. She will fight him; he looked forward to that.

Sookie finished cleaning the last table and was oddly anxious to get home to Bill. She was also starving. She couldn’t imagine drinking the same thing for the rest of her life. Bluah. She was surprised she hadn’t lost any weight; being on an all liquid diet she thought that she would, but Bill mist know what he’s doing. He made her shakes and left them in the refrigerator next to the Tru Blood. He also packed her some in a lunch cooler to take to work with her. She ached between her legs. It was the worst feeling she had ever felt. Anytime she even rubbed her thighs together she risked an orgasm. She had woken up several times in the last three days with her leg draped over Bill’s thigh and her hand trailing down to her warmth. He always caught her. Her mind dreamt of him every night.

As she pulled into the drive she knew they only had two days left. They. She smiled to herself. She couldn’t wait to see the expression on his face when he asked for her choice. She dropped her stuff on the couch and then went straight for the refrigerator. She pulled out a shake and opened the container. She took big gulps as her arm rested on the open door. “Hungry?” His voice startled her and she pulled the bottle down from her lips, leaving a ring of pink strawberry on her upper lip. “Yes, very.” “So am I.” He crossed to her. He wanted to feed, but he hated the taste of the shakes. Too much protein for his liking; he couldn’t wait to give her a piece of cake, ice cream or pizza, anything other then the shakes. It had been two days since he feed from her. “Let’s take a walk; it’s time to discuss our tribunal debt.” She placed the shake back into the refrigerator and followed him out the back door.

The moon was bright in the sky; its glow blanketed the ground. Bill stopped by the tree line of the woods and turned to her. “Sookie, we are running out of time. I need to know what your decision is. What human have you picked to die?” She breathed deeply as she turned to him. She’d been waiting for this moment. She tilted her chin high and slung her shoulders back with confidence. “Me.” His smile broadened across his handsome face. Yes! “Bill, why are you smiling like that?” Her expression changed from “got ya.” to “oh shit!” He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her to him. “I was hoping you would say that.” She pushed back on his chest but he held her tighter. “What…why?” His lips came down onto hers as she pushed harder against him. “Oh this is exciting Sookie. You won’t ever have to worry about disobeying me again.” She shoved hard against his chest breaking through his arms. She stared at him in disbelief. This wasn’t going the way she planned it at all.

Bill fought the urge to laugh. He had stunned her. This was going exactly how he had planned it. He knew she would choose herself. It was her way of freeing herself from any true crime or any true harm to someone else. “Sookie, you think I have you doing things now? Wait until you become my child. You will be compelled to obey me and you won’t be able to refuse me when I call for you. For the rest of your existence you will have no freewill.” The edge of his lips twitched as he watched her roll his words around in her head. “But...you have to bring my body to the magistrate, dead.” “Yes, of course. But he didn’t say anything about bringing you back to life. He would be very happy that I added another vampire to the ranks.” Her mind was spinning. She couldn’t form words. She looked around her, searching for something to help her mind focus. Her eyes landed on a shovel leaning against the tree, then a pile of dirt, then the hole which it came from. All the blood drained from her face and she looked up at Bill. “What is that for? You are going to kill me? You knew I would choose myself?” He flashed to her, encircling his arms around her. He grabbed her head and tilted it to the side. “I was counting on you picking yourself. The hole is where we will sleep while your body prepares to rise as a vampire, my vampire.”

She broke from his arms and ran for the house. He yelled after her. “Sookie, come on! Let’s get it over with! Running is just foreplay to me and you know that.” Now that she was out of sight he allowed himself to laugh. It felt good to laugh. Digging the hole was definitely worth it. The look on her face was priceless. He walked back to the house. He contemplated if he ever had it in him to hurt her. She did provoke him a lot; she pushed him to his very breaking point. But, over last couple days, his heart yearned for her again.

Inside the house she sat on the couch staring blankly into the fire. He hardened himself to her. This was almost over. He would give in to her now, but he refused to be trampled again. He walked over to her and stood in front of her. “I guess you’ve changed your mind?” “Yes.” His fingers slid under her chin and he lifted it so he could see her eyes. “Is being with me for eternity so horrifying?” A tear strolled down her cheek. It stabbed him as soon as it hit his skin. Her stomach hurt, she felt sick. She was going to have to make this decision. There was no way out of it. Right now she just wanted to feel better, feel something other then what she felt. “No Bill, but being a vampire is.” He put his knees on the couch and startled her, carful to keep his weight from her. He cupped her face and kissed her as gently as he could. She was beginning to understand what being a vampire was all about. She leaned back into the couch and stared up at him. “Have you eaten tonight?” He shook his head, “No”. She leaned to the side and brushed her hair back from her neck. His fangs instantly popped out as well as the hardness in his pants. She needed to feel the pain form his bite and the suction of his lips. It was like he sucked the pain form her body and healed her as he licked her neck.

Bill did not hesitate. He pulled his head back and struck like a snake. He sucked hard, moaning as the blood flowed into his mouth. Her hands held his head as she slid her fingers through his hair. She arched her back into him, feeling his hardness pound against his pants. “Bill, please take me. I can’t take it any more.” He pulled away from her. He had wanted to hear those words from her lips, but not now. “Sookie, after our task, if you say those words to me I will, but not now.” She wiggled underneath him. “Why…why not now?” “If you can still look at me after we have taken someone’s life, then I will know you understand.” He rolled to the side of her and sat on the couch. He painfully ached and she ached as well. She stood and grabbed her purse from the couch. “I’m going home. I want to sleep in my bed.” “No you are not. Go up and take a shower then get into the hole.” She challenged his eyes for a minute then dropped her purse back on the couch. She made her way to the stairs. If she didn’t see the tiny smile tugging at his lips, she might have thought he was entirely mean. She was exhausted anyway. One more night of this and she would go home.

Bill had grown used to feeling her body against him at night. This was the last night before he had to kill; he wasn’t giving her up. He stripped down and waited for her underneath the floor. He heard her tiny footsteps walk toward him. When she was above him, the floor opened and it sucked in her scent. He breathed her in then reached under the blanket to squeeze the head of his shaft. He gazed up at her, as ordered, she was unclothed. Her breasts stood before him full, with erect nipples. He pulled aside the covers where she lay and she stepped in. She went to her side and he tucked her into his lap, cursing his erection that would not stop throbbing. Sleep took them both quickly and they lay entwined in each others arms.

The next day came fast. Bill slid into his booth at Merlotte’s and his eyes quickly found what he desired. Sookie met his eyes and came to him, Tru Blood in hand, warmed to the perfect temperature. His eyes locked with hers and she shook her head “no”. He was going to have to make this decision for her. She turned from him and walked back to the bar. He watched as she leaned against the bar on her elbow. As she waited for her drink order she scanned the room with her eyes, like a predator she was searching for her pray. Bill’s hand shot to his mouth as his fangs popped out. She was stunning and exciting. She grabbed her tray and walked over to the table of men; she leaned down setting the picture of beer and mugs on the table. She felt a smack on her ass and she stood straight up and looked at the man who delivered it. Her face wrinkled in disgust. He leaned back with a smug look and slipped his hand into the top of his pants. His face had the look of arrogance just like it did when he insulted Lafayette. “How about trying a warm blooded man babe?” “Oh please, you couldn’t keep it up half as long as a vampire could.” Sookie’s mind caught his thoughts and he was going to show her, no one talks to him like that, embarrasses him in front of people. Then her mind caught a glimpse of something else. She stepped back from him, her mouth fell open. “It was you! You killed the vamp…” He leaned forward toward her. He was an evil man. Not one ounce of human compassion stirred within him. She looked over at Bill. His hands gripped the edge of the table as he held himself back. Not only did this man touch what was his, he knew exactly what else he did. He killed the four vampires. He put Sookie through hell and he could have been in that house that night.

Sookie’s eyes connected with Bill’s. She quickly nodded “yes”. His mouth dropped; she had chosen. She nodded toward the door. She knew this argent ass would follow her. His mind already showed her what he planned to do to her at closing. She looked toward the bar. “Terry, I’m going to take a break. I’ll be back.” Terry waved to her and she walked toward the back door. As she suspected, the man got up from the table and went to the front door. Bill was right behind him.

Sookie paced back and fourth at the back of the bar; she stood on the other side of the dumpster, hidden from view. Her gut clenched. Jesus, what am I doing? She was grabbed from behind and spun around, her back pushed against the wall. The man didn’t even get a word out before Bill had spun him around and pushed him toward the wall trapping Sookie behind him. The man stared at Bill. “What the fuck?” “I always think it’s polite to look someone in the eyes before you kill them.” The man’s eyes went wide and his body began to shake as Bill’s fangs clicked out to a long deadly length. “Oh shit!” The man began to scream. Sookie frantically looked around; her heart pounded widely and her hand reached out, cupping the man’s mouth. She pulled his head back as he struggled to free her hand from his mouth. Bill stood still; seconds passed, she was holding his victim. His eyes grew black with bloodlust. The excitement from the kill was nothing compared to the excitement Sookie was giving him right now. Bill lunged for his neck; the man’s body began to convulse. Bill’s eyes flew open as he sucked the life out of the man. His eyes locked onto Sookie’s. Her eyes were glazed over with the same bloodlust as his. He felt the adrenaline pumping through her veins. In less then a minute the man was dead. His body went limp and Bill held him forward for Sookie to move. Why did she stay?

Sookie slid out from behind the man. She couldn’t look at Bill, not right now. She couldn’t speak; she could barely move her legs. Bill slung the man over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. “Sookie, I have to go deliver this.” She didn’t turn to him; she simply walked away. She picked up her tray and looked at the wall clock. It was only 8p.m. She had a long night to dwell on what she just did. Bill had parked his car in the back under the oak tree. He deposited the body in the truck and slammed it shut. He felt a pain in his chest. She couldn’t even look at him. Maybe now she would understand why he would not give in to her. The pain would be so deep right now he may consider meeting the sun. If she didn’t come to him tonight, he would let her go.

Sookie sat in her car and stared at the two streets. To the right was Bill’s house; to the left was hers. After thirty minutes she put the car in drive. She felt dead inside. She wanted to scrub her insides clean. She killed someone. Not directly but she helped. She dropped her purse on the couch and discarded her shoes then walked toward the noise up the stairs. By the looks of the wood in the fireplace, Bill had already been home for awhile. She opened the bathroom door and stared at the back of him. He stood with his bare feet on a white drop cloth. His jeans hugged his skin, sitting perfectly at his bare waist. His muscles flexed as he rolled the paint onto the wall. His body was perfect. Her desire stirred in her; again her pride stopped it cold. “You’re painting Bill?” He knew she had been there but he waited for her to make the first attempt at conversation. She walked toward him; her bare feet stepped onto the cloth. Spots of paint splattered around it. She stared at it. “Painting is relaxing Sookie. Would you like to help?” “No, I don’t want to fucking paint Bill.” He raised his eyebrow and turned to her. “Do you have something to say to me Sookie?” She stared at the paint. “Well I can see you’re obviously obsessed with the color of blood.” Bill looked at the half painted wall. “This is not the color of blood, its crimson.” Her anger elevated. He acted like nothing happened. “Why are you always so fucking calm? How can you act like nothing happened tonight?” “Because he deserved it; he killed 4 vampires and a human. He’s a racist and he had an evil heart. As far as I’m concerned we did the community a service tonight.” She reached out. Anger boiling within her, her voice grew louder as she wrapped her hands around the paint roller. She held her palms out. “Is this what you wanted Bill, blood on my hands.” Bill stared at the red paint dripping from her hands. His nostrils flared. Did she not understand, after all of this? “And my hands Sookie.” “But you looked like you enjoyed it.” He stepped closer to her. His eyes grew cold. He clenched his teeth as he spoke. “And so did you.”

Her face flashed red as she remembered the adrenalin rushing through her body, the desire to kiss him after he was done. She turned away from him. “He deserved to die Sookie. We had to…” She bit off his words that still hung in the air. “It was not my place to judge him or sentence him to death.” He stepped closer to her; his rage came forward and he battled for control. “Nor was it mine! But you can stand here and judge me for something I was forced to do to save your life?” He felt her anger boil and at any minute he knew the confrontation would blow. She lunged forward and pushed his chest as hard as she could. He stumbled back, tapping the can of paint and splashing it out over the edge of the can. “I hate you Bill.” As he balanced on the edge of rage, the stab in the heart pushed him over. “You were warned not to push me again. Now I retaliate.” He reached his hand out and grabbed her shirt, tearing it from her body along with her bra. He grabbed her shoulders, smearing paint as he touched her. She pulled back from him and he wrapped her tight into his arms. It was like being squeezed by a python. She still struggled against him and he brought her to the floor. He laid on top of her, pressing her into the floor until she could hardly breath. “Say it again! Look me in the eye and say it again. I want to make sure I heard you proclaim your hate for me.” Her breathing became rapid as she stared up at him. “Say it Sookie!” A single tear fell down her face. “I killed someone Bill.” He loosened his grip. “Why didn’t you run Sookie? Why did you stay; why did you cover his mouth?” “I didn’t want anyone to hear him scream.” “Why?” “Because if we were found, we would have been caught… for murder.”

She was holding something back but he wasn’t sure what. They stared at each other as their words soaked into one another. “Bill, you said if I can look at you after we took someone’s life and asked you to take me, you would.” His chest swelled at her words. “Yes, I did say that.” She searched his eyes. “Please take me Bill.” He cupped her face and brushed his lips against hers. “Give me my heart back Sookie.” He stared back at her; red pools formed in his eyes. “Bill I’ll do everything you say. I’ll drink the shakes; I’ll sleep on the hard ground. I’ll stifle the screams of anyone you want to kill because I couldn’t live if you were caught and taken from me.” He could have sworn he felt his heartbeat. She buried her hands in his hair as he bent to tear his jeans from his body. She trembled with anticipation as his hand slid up her thigh trailing a line of red paint then glided over her stomach. His lips toyed with her nipples until they were painfully hard. He slid his fingers inside the crotch of her shorts and ripped the hem, taking her panties with him. When his thumb found her nub she arched her back and let out a loud cry. She wouldn’t be able to hold on for long. His hardness painfully throbbed against her leg, begging him to release his seed. His hand seemed to shake; he had held off so long for this and now he would have the feel of her warmth wrapped around his cock. His lips raised in a wicked smile as he forced her hand to his shaft. “Stroke me.” Their eyes locked. “Bill please…” “Please what Sookie.” “Bill, if I don’t have an orgasm I really think I am going to explode. Please take me and don’t hold back.” “Oh I don’t plan to hold back.”

He parted her legs then kneeled between them, leaning back, resting his weight on his calves. She stared down at him; his cock was huge and pulsating. She gulped at the sight of it. She felt her warmth become wetter as she watched it bounce. He grabbed his shaft to squeeze the head of it and she drew in a breath. He eyes became intoxicated with desire. “Sookie, touch yourself for me.” Her face turned red at the request but she started to slide her hand down her stomach to give him what he wanted. His eyes darkened; his fangs grew longer as he stared at her fingers rotating her nub. She was doing this, for him. He could not believe it. He found himself stroking his shaft keeping time with her strokes. He felt her rising. Her eyes flew open as he took her hand away from her nub, stealing her orgasm again. “No…Bill, let me come.” “Sookie you will.” He lunged forward and buried himself into her. She screamed as he entered her. His arms wrapped around the back side of her shoulders as he pushed into her again he pulled her body into him. She lifted her legs and wrapped them around him. Three strokes and she convulsed around him. He struggled with his control. Her muscles squeezed his cock, coaxing his seed to spill. She screamed his name as his movements became harder and he slammed into her making her take the full length of him over and over again.

He bent down to her neck and nuzzled into her nape. His fangs touched her skin. He pressed lightly and she screamed. “Yes, go slow, please. I dreamt about this.” He smiled against her skin; she wanted what he wanted. He broke the skin on her neck and slipped his tongue up to catch the first drop of blood. The bottom half of her body was moving in frenzy as he worked his shaft inside her. He inched his fangs in more and she convulsed around him for the second time. He bit down all the way and sucked hard against the wound, moaning against her skin. She bucked against him causing her muscles to stroke him, faster, tighter. He could not hold on. He pulled hard on her shoulders, impaling her hard onto his shaft. Unloading his seed inside her. His cries of pleasure were as loud as hers as they rode the wave of ecstasy. “Bill, give me back a piece of you. I want to feel you run through my veins. I want to always feel you. I love you.” Her angelic voice stroked his skin. He brought his arm to his mouth and bit down. He held it out to her and when she latched on like a starving animal, he unloaded his seed again. He stroked the insides of her warmth until she released his arm. He bent and took her red tinged lips. He brushed his lips against hers then trailed them down to her ear. His voice sent a blanket of goosebumps across her skin as he whispered in her ear. “I love you Sookie and I will always kill for you.”
