I think the show's version of Tara is totally different than the book. Honestly, she got on my nerves --- too rude and brash. I just couldn't get her acting this way and still having a thing for Jason, it's like the two ideas don't mix seem possible for her character the way it's being played.

I enjoyed Tara and Sam, and Tara and Eggs, but in the long run I want to see Tara with someone without so many issues. Although her character is brash sometimes she is a good person overall. She is a loyal, caring friend and deserves someone who can be as supportive to her as she is to everyone else. You don't have to look very hard to see past her tough girl exterior. Some of the attitudes and reasons for not liking her make me wonder if you all even know real people. The comment about her shoulders was strange and irrelevant. What are you even talking about?
Rutina Wesley is a great actress, after I saw her interview on Chelsea Lately I checked the show out. Tara is the rason I watch.
