I haven't felt this inspired since JFK. I despaired that McCain would win and I didn't know what to do. But the American people came through and saw through the bigotry & shallowness of the Republican Party. I cried too, as did most of my friends. This is a new beginning for the country, a climb from the quicksand to the sweet fresh air.
