Katniss Everdeen is the protagonist in this novel. When her 12 year-old sister Prim (Primrose Everdeen) is chosen, Katniss volunteers. We then travel to the build-up to the games, her fellow competitor Peeta and then we are thrown into the Games. The end will leave you hanging for the second book, which comes out later this year. This book is the first in the trilogy.

Harry Keogh made for a great 20's- something crush for me back in the pre-twilight days.. |
