Synopsis: This is only my view of what I would have liked to have happened at the end of Episode 9. This is where Eric and Pam show up with Bill to tell Sookie he is leaving with Eric to go to trial. I hope you enjoy it.

Damn it Sookie you can't come. You can not testify. You will not be welcome there."

"You lied to me. You said that everything is going to be ok, but it's not is it?" Sookie struggled to get the words out staring deeply into Bill eyes.

"I honestly don't know," he whispered back.

Sookie whipped her head around to face Eric. "Take me instead," she stated clearly as Eric eyed her with anusement.

"No!" Bill's voice roared out. He jerked her arm pulling her behind his body acting like a shield.

"Bill, let go of me! You got us into this mes. I am simply trying to get you out of it."

"You have no idea what you are doing. I can take care of myself," Bill said with pleading eyes.

"Done," Eric said as if he really didn't care one way or the other.

"Noghing is Done!" Bill growled still protecting Sookie.

"Bill I have already accepted her deal. You are no longer involved. Come Sooie, I have things to attend too." Eric held out his hand for Sookie, while shooting Bill a look that was not to be questioned.

"No." Bill whispered as Sookie stepped around him towards Eric. "Sookie..."

Sookie stared into his eyes tears forming as she gazed longingly at him. Then swallowing hard she turned her back on him.

Bill's fangs lashed out as he flew towards Eric in a rage. Eric caught him in a strangle hold. His neck just out of reach of Bill's snapping teeth.

"Do you really want to die with her watching Bill?" Eric demanded, calming Bill somewhat.

"No," he managed to answer.

"Good boy," Eric smiled evilly. Dropping Bill in a pile on the ground he held out his hand to Sookie again. "Come."

Sookie stepped around Bill tears streaming down her checks, as Pam laughed clearly enjoying the show. Placing her warm hand in Eric's cool one she closed her eyes.

"Eric please be reasonable," Bill tried once more. "Good night, Mr. Compton," Eric grinned. Pulling Sookie close into his chest as his group disappeared into the night leaving Bill kneelingon the ground in front of the bar helpless.

*****************************************************************************************************

Sookie wrapped her arms around Eric's neck having nowhere else to put them as they speed throuh the trees. In a short time they came to a stop in front of a dark, gray mansion. Pam marched forward with Longshadow's replacement, and the front doors flew open. They strolled in going about their business like nothing was outof the ordinary.

Sookie loosened her arms around Eric, but he only tightened his hold. He stopped in front of the stairs before the front doors, shifting her so he could stare directly into her eyes.

"If you're trying to glamour me, it won't work."

"I'm not," he stated.

His eyes never leaving her face.
He slid her down the length of his hard body placing her on her feet. Grasping her left hand he led her intothe mansion. He took her straight up the main stair case and down a long hallway finial stopping in front of a door. He casually waved his hand looking back at Sookie as the door opened welcoming them.

"THis shall be your room." His eyes quicklly scanned around as if checking for something.

"How long do I have to stay here?" Sookie asked him.

"Would you rather go ahead and stay in My room?" Eric raised an eyebrow seductively stepping closer to Sookie resting an arm on the door frame blocking her with his body.

"That's not what I meant. How long do you intend on holding me here?"

"I have all the time in the world," he leaned his face in closer yet.

Sookie held her breath staring into his fathomless eyes. Backing up inot the bedroom she wondered if this had been such a good idea after all. Why had Bill not wanted her to try and help him? What was Eric capable of? Did she even want to know?

As, if he was able to read her mind he uddenly turned away from her walking back down the hallway. "I will see about some dinner for you. Be down stairs in half an hour," he commanded.

Sookie flopped down on the bed's white comforter. Placing her head in her hands she rubbed her eyes. What have I dont? She asked herself over and over again. Straightening back up she looked around the finely furnished room. Going into the small bathroom off the room she splashed some water on her face trying to calm her nerves. Moving back into the bedroom she noticed the closet door ajar. Opening it slowly it was filled with an array of expense looking outfits allin her size. "What the ?" She mumbled as she inspected the clothes. Closing the closet door she loked around again.

The room had one window, but it was covered in heavy wooden blindes, and drapes. No light would ever get through all that, she thought.

Having nothing else to do she decided to go on down stairs. She slowly made her way down the stair case. Peaking into the room on her right she saw it was a formal living room complete with cream colored, velvet couches. Moving away from the living room she made her way down the hallwy in the direction of the voices she could hear chatting.

"I can't believe Eric has me fetching food for this creature," Pam pouted to Longshadow's replacement.

"I feel for you."

"You don't feel anything."

Pam looked up from opening take out boxes on the dining room's table seeing Sookie standing in the door way. "Here you can finish this. You're the one eating it," Pam turned away from her leaning up against the table to examine her nails.

Longshadow's replacement, grinning, strolled out of the room, obviously having better things to do.

Walking around Pam Sookie took a seat quite a ways down the table. She was really not sure what to do. This was a bad idea she thought. But, I couldn't let Bill face that fate after he saved me, could I?

"Eric will tire of you quickly, so if I were you I wouldn't get too comfortable." Pam informed her.

"I hope your right," Sookie answered hoping that her voice wouldn't give her fear away.

"I know I am." Pam turned her attentions back to Sookie's face, and then suddenly stood up straightening her suit and abruptly left the room.

Sookie stared after her in wonder. Then she felt cool hands on the back of her neck causing her to jump up out of her seat.

"Did I startle you Miss Stackhouse?" Eric asked nonchalantly, but his eyes gave him away. He was deeply interested in his new pet.

Swalling hard Sookie found her shake voice. "Yes, I hate it when you guys do that."

"You have not touched your dinner. Is it not to your liking?" Eric asked scanning the table.

"I'm really not hungry, I guess. What are you going to do with me?"

Turning his intent eyes back to here Eric stepped closer. "You are to stay by my side."

"And then what, and for how long? A week, a month, then I can go home? I have a life you know."

Correction, you had a life. Now you have a new one...with me."

"For how long?" she pressed.

"Forever, or course."

"Are you planning on turning me?" she squeaked.

"Would that please you?" Eric reached forward touching a piece of her hair.

Sookie waved his hand away trying to put space between them. "I don't want to be a vampire."

"Why, with your talents you would be a supreme one. That is what I find troubling between you and Bill. Why he never turned you himself?"

Sookie took a few more steps away from him. "Because I don't want to be one."

"But you are obviously fascinated by us."

"No I'm not," Sookie retorted.

Flying up to her in the blink of an eye Eric wrapped a powerful arm around her waist.

"I don't need your mind talents to see you are lying Miss Stackhouse. Your heart is pounding, I can feel what you want."

Eric's face was a mere breathes away from hers. And Sookie despite herself leaned in closer.

CHAPTER 2

What am I doing? Her brain screamed in her head. I love Bill, or at least... She couldn't quite make her brain form the thoughts she was scared to think about. Thoughts like maybe she was in love with Bill because he was the frist vampire she had meet. Maybe if she had meet Eric first she would have... Her thoughts trailed off. It was simply too hard to concentrate on anything with Eric's eyes boring into her soul.

"You just want me because of my talents," she mumbled. "Nothing more."

"So? Is that a problem for you?" Eric asked clearly not understanding her hesitation.

"Yes, I have a problem with that." Sookie shook her head. How can he not understand that I want to be loved for me, not for what I can do?

"I am sorry to hear that, Miss Stackhouse," Eric said taking a seat at the head of the table. He leaned back in his chair as if he didn't have a care in the world.

"Can you please stop calling me Miss Stackhouse? My name is Sookie."

Grinning Eric said, "Sookie then."

"What about Pam?" Sookie asked sitting back down at the table.

"What about Pam?"

"Well, she clearly thinks that she is by your side."

"I will worry about Pam. She is not by my side. I am simply her maker. She is free to leave at any time."

"Then why doesn't she?" Sookie asked resting her head on her hand.

"She must not feel the need too. I am sure you will be the same way after awhile."

"What?" Sookie stood up. "You think I will never want to leave you? I didn't want to come here in the first place."

"Yet here you are, and by your every words I might add," Eric raised an eyebrow.

"I was merely trying to save Bill, that's all."

"Keep telling yourself that...Sookie." Eric stood up holding out his hand for her to take. "Come dawn approaches. You need rest."

"Don't you?" Sookie slowly took his hand. She didn't really want to, but it was like she was drawn to him.

"I'm much older than our friend Bill. I can move around during the daylight hours. I just can't go outside."

Eric directed them back up stairs to Sookie's room. Opening the door with the wave of his hand he guided her inside.

"Feel free to bath, and change clothes. I am surprised that you didn't earlier," Eric nodded at the closet.

"I wasn't sure they were for me." Sookie looked down at her hand still in Eric's larger one; her feelings at war with each other.

"Or course they were. I never bring humans here. This room was done just for you."

"But you didn't know I was going to come here till just hours ago." Sookie stared up at him confused.

"Did I?" Eric pulled her closer but their bodies didn't touch. "Good night Miss Stackhouse...Sookie." He lowered his face to hers gazing into her eyes. "I am more pleased than you can know that you are here." And with that he vanished from her room leaving Sookie breathless.

CHAPTER 3

The next day at five in the evening Sookie was awakened to a knocking on her door. Rubbing her eyes she forcused in on the clock and couln't believe it was so late. But, she hadn't fallen asleep till after seven am. Her thoughts had been severely troubled over the situation she found herself in. Instead of living happily ever after with Bill she found herself tied to Eric. But is that bad her thoughts pounded?

"Yah? I'm coming," she hollered towards the banging on the door. Stumbling out of bed she cracked the door open to be face to face with Pam.

"About time, I swear you sleep more than any vampire," she sneered.

"Soory to keep you waiting. It wa a long night."

"Why Eric sent you to bed early?" Pam questioned her.

"How do you know that? Are you keeping tabs on me?" Sookie placed a hand on her hip.

"No matter." Pam brushed off her questions. "Eric said to get ready."

"Ready for what?"

"To go to the club of course, and please wear something appropriate. We leave in an hour."

Closing the door Sookie slumped up against it letting out a deep breath. So, now I am to do God knows what at the club, her thoughts swriled. But she was really too scared to ask out loud.

Walking to the closet she opened the doors to rummage through. It was filled with sundresses, jeans, tank tops, and then on the other side was obviously 'club' wear. Black leathers and corsets loomed in front of her. Sookie chewed on her bottom lip not sure what to do. Finally deciding to just 'go with it' she grabbed a pair of jeans, and a midnight blue corset top with tiny spaghetti straps.

Looking in the mirror though Sookie felt totally exposed, so she rummaged through the closet untill she found a little black jacket to throw on over her top. Looking around the room she had nothing else to do but brush her hair and be on her way. When she had left with Eric she hadn't even had a chance to grab her purse.

Going into the bathroom she opened the medicine cabinet to find a hairbrush and make-up just like what she used at home. In fact, on closer inspection she learned that it was her make-up and hair brush. How had that gottenn here she wondered.

Walking down the stairs see saw that everyone was waiting on her. Eric held out his hand to her, making Pam look away in clear disgust.

"Eric, how did my make-up get here?" She asked taking his hand.

"I had some things I thought you would need brought over," he answered pulling her closer.

"What about my other things?"

"Other things?" he asked raising his eyebrows. "Didn't you find everything you needed?"

"Well yes, but what about my clothes from home?"

"You don't need them. If there is something you need just ask and I will see to it."

"What was wrong with my clothes then?" Sookie asked not giving up.

"They were not to my liking," he simply answered. Then letting his eyes roam over her he placed his cool hands on her neck slowly lowering them down her shoulders pushing off her jacket. "As for this," he said tossing the jacket aside, "It's not to my liking either."

This caused Pam and the other vampire to laugh as they headed out the door.

Sookie was stunned, but she wasn't sure if it was from his words or his hands. Deciding to change the subject she swallowed hard.

"When am I going to get to see Bill?"

"He knows I will have you with me at the club, so I guess you will see him when he wants to see you," he answered coldly sweeping Sookie up against his body as they flew quick as lighten towards the club.

Once there he ushered Sookie in to the kitchen area where a plate of spaghetti was waiting on her.

Well, at least he remembers to feed me, she thought. Sitting down she picked up her fork still aware he was watching her.

"Have you already eaten?" She asked.

"No," he stated.

Sookie looked up at him with big eyes. Is he planning on feeding from me, she thought? Her fear must have shown in her eyes for Eric grinned.

"I told you Sookie my meals are all given to me freely; willing partners. Don't worry."

Sookie's cheeks flushed scarlet red as she stabbed her plate of innocent noodles. She hated herself right now for having waves of jealously wash over her on picturing Eric feeding on someone else. What should she care? Oh, why won't he leave me to be miserable in private, she thought.

They as if answering her silent pray he gave her a nod. "Come and sit with me when you are done." With that he left her alone.

Crap, she thought. What a mess I'm in. Finishing up her dinner she stood up only to bump into Pam, who was not amused.

"Eric's waiting for you," she said then turned her back on her.

Sookie nodded and headed out into the already crowded bar. She weaved her way through the sea of people, or vampires, and vampire want-a-bes, to Eric's stage. He never even looked up from his phone, but Sookie had the strange feeling he was aware of her every move.

"Sit beside me Miss Stackhouse. Do you want a drink, or to dance?" He asked not meeting her eyes.

"Why are you going to dance with me, really?" She was stunned.

Scanning the crowd Eric answered her. "Of course not, I have people who would though, if you so wish."

"No I'm fine," she answered once again blushing. Stupid, she scolded herself.

Eric seemed perfectly contented to text the night away as Sookie sat to his right staring out into the sea of faces. Her only bright hope was that Bill might show up. But as the night wore on she lost hope as he never showed.

"Sookie, tell me if anyone has anything interesting on their mind," Eric suddenly told her.

"Oh...ok," she mumbled. But, she had been listening all night, and no one did. So, she sat till the early hours of the morning next to Eric wondering if this was all life was going to in store for her now.

She hadn't realized it, but at some point she dozed off. She awoke to Eric taking her shoes off her feet as she laid in her new bed.

"Eric?" She asked sleepily.

Straightening up quickly Eric dropped her shoes to the floor. Running a hand through his hair he said, "You fell asleep. I wasn't going to leave you at the club."

"Thank you. Did someone want to leave me at the club?" she asked. Maybe Bill had showed up after I passed out, she thought.

"Pam," Eric stated.

"Oh..." Sookie said clearly bummed out. "Did Bill ever show up?" She asked leaning up on her elbows.

"No. Good night Miss Stackhouse." With that Eric left the room.

"What was that?" Sookie asked out loud, and then too tired to really care rolled over and snuggled into her pillow.

The next few days passed in the same way; sleeping late, eating at the club, and then sitting next to Eric who acted as if she wasn't there except for asking her if she wanted to dance with someone, or have a drink. Plus, there was the he wanted to know if anyone was thinking anything they shouldn't.

Sookie was quickly falling into a slump. And to make matters worse BIll had never shown up at the club. Eric had told her he must have better things to do. That pissed her off, so on this evening she decided that she would have better things to do too.

Throwing open her closet she picked out a gray and black little 'school girl' skirt, a black strapless top, and black leather knee high boots to match. If Bill was having fun why shouldn't she.

As she made her way down the stairs Eric's eyes flashed over her outfit shock written on his features.

"My, my, aren't we dressed to kill," Pam jeered. Then glancing at Eric's face she rolled her eyes leaving the room.

"Sookie," Eric said taking her hand and giving her a little nod of approval she guessed.

That evening after her dinner, when she was taking her seat by Eric he asked her again if she wanted something to drink.

"Why yes, I do believe I will have one. A gin and tonic please, and maybe more than one," she gave him a bad girl grin to which he simply raised an eyebrow. A young vampire quickly brought her the drink.

After her third one she was feeling pretty good. And thought it actually felt great to let her cares melt away for a time. Scanning the crowd she caught the attentions of the young vampire again. He thought she wanted another drink so quickly brought her one. He worked at the club for Eric so was eager to please.

"Oh I didn't need another drink," Sookie told him as she still had some left.

"But, you signaled me," he said confused.

"I think the lady wanted to dance," Eric's voice broke through Sookie's haze almost making her drop her glass. "It's fine, go."

"All rightly," Sookie slammed down the rest of her dink then took the new one in one hand and the other she held out to the vampire. WIth a quick glace at Eric he led her out on to the crowded dance floor.

The music was pounding and pulsing all around them. Sookie closed her eyes and forgot about everything. She forgot about her old life, BIll, Eric, vampires, and just enjoyed the music and her hance partner's body.

His chest was solid and muscular Sookie found out as she ran her hand seductively across it, as he held her tight during the dance. He dipped and swayed their bodies as if they were one. As he turned her around the floor she caught sight of Eric staring directly at them, and he didn't look pleased. But in her alcoholic haze Sookie didn't care.

CHAPTER 4

Suddenly her dance partner stopped pulling away from her.

"What's the matter?" She asked.

"Let me get you another drink?" He stated taking a step back from her, his eyes wide looking over her shoulder.

Then an arm came over her right shoulder grabbing the glass out of her fingers and handed it towards the boy.

"What the heck?" Sookie slurred turning around to see Eric right behind her. "Oh...I'll go sit down now," Sookie mumbled.

"No you don't. You wanted to dace and so you shall. WIth me." His eyes bored into hers as hot as any flame from Hates'.

He swung their bodies into the driving, electric rhythm of the dance pulsing all around them. His body brushed up against hers over and over again creating a friction that was slowly burning Sookie alive.

He definitely has this dancing thing down pat, she thought. I need to be careful of where this might be leading. But, at the same time she also wanted to push the accelerator down to full speed ahead. She was torn between her mind's rational thoughs, and what her body was already doing.

Sookie tried to brush some of the acholic cobwebs away to think more clearly. Placing he hands solidaly against the wall of his chest she attempted to push away. But Eric just pressed her more closely into his body.

"Oh no you don't. You will dance with me just like you did him. You can't put on a show like that and not except an encore performance."

"What do you mean?" She tried to sound innocent.

Eric grinded his hips to hers making Sookie moan out loud to her utter enbracement.

"You don't?" he stared back at her.

Eric slid a hand down and hooked it in behind her knee pulling her leg up to wind around his waist. His other hand roamed up her back to her neck grabbing a fist full of hair as he dipped her body back, giving him full access to her bare upper chest and neck.

Sookie couldn't control her breathing as she waited for what she thought would be the worst. But, instead Eric stared at her slowly lowering his lips to lightly graze her skin. Sookie let out a deep breath. His touch felt like Heaven and Hell, a strange combination. Slowly, seductively, he drew her under his spell. She knew she should be fighting him, but after her disappointments with Bill not showing up and the drinks, she gave in.

Rising her head up she met Eric's lips with hers. This caught him off guard. He jerked back as if she had burned him. Sookie smiled and batted her eye lashes as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"What? I was simply getting into my 'encore performance'." She looked up at him through her lashes, as she tangled her hands in his blonde hair.

The shock in Eric's eyes was quickly replaced with what looked to Sookie as storm clouds of passion. Growling he crushed her to him. His lips sought hers, as his hands ripped open the back of her top. If they wouldn't have been so close together it would have fallen to the floor.

Sookie grasped as his fingers found her skin, and then was muffled as his mouth covered hers. She felt like she was floating, limp in his arms. When at last he broke their kiss Sookie was panting. She felt him lift her into his arms, but when she opened her eyes she noticed that the whole club had came to a standstill. Every eye in the club was on them. Quickly Sookie clutched at her ruined top. Then in a flash she was with Eric alone in his office.

He dumped her on to this black leather couch turning his back on her.

"Eric?" Sookie asked still clinging to her top.

"No one makes me lose control like that...especially in front of my people," he spat gripping his desk.

"Sorry?" Sookie leaned up on one elbow. "But I do think it was you who joined me on the dance floor."

In a blink of any eye Eric was on top of her pressing her down into the couch. His hands pushing her tiny skirt up with light movements that made Sookie's heart skip a beat. She whimpered leaning into his caresses only to be disappointed when his hands stopped.

"You are drunk," he simply stated and vanished from the room.

Sookie's eyes filled up with tears as she looked down at her frazzled appearance. What the hell am I doing, she wondered.

CHAPTER 5

"Well now that was very enntertaining," Pam's smug voice broke through the room.

Sookie sat up wiping her eyes and pulling on her top.

"Oh don't fuss over your appearance. We all got a good look at it in the other room." Pam grinned as she went over to the closet throwing the door open. She riffled through it untill she found what she was looking for; a plain black tank top with straps. SHe tossed it at Sookie.

"Here put this on." She moved over to the side bar pouring a drink. Then sitting down next to Sookie she handed her the glass. Sookie raised an eyebrow to the drink.

"I just thought you might need a drink?" Pam said innocently. She was looking Sookie over intently.

"What?" Sookie asked in bewteen gulps of the fiery liquid.

"He didn't bite you?" She asked skeptically.

"That's none of your business! But no, he didn't." She finished off the drink.

"I thought not." Pam said rather pleased, standing to get Sookie another drink.

"What dose that mean?" Sookie demanded.

"Oh nothing," Pam shrugged as she handed Sookie a refill. "Eric said for you to stay in here."

"Why?"

"Maybe he wants to spend the rest of his evening in peace?" Pam smiled leaving the room.

Sookie was so mad she wanted to throw the glass at the door, but instead just finished it off and laid back on the soft leather. In seconds she was passed out, as the glass rolled out of her finger tips.

Sookie moaned out as pleasure washed over her body. Her skin was bare and someone was raining kisses all over just the right places. She raised her arms wrapping them around her lover pulling him up so she could see him. Eric perfect face loomed in front of hers. Letting out a gasp Sookie had been sure it must have been Bill, not Eric. She thought she had been saved. But, somewhere in the far corners of her mind a thought rang clear. Did she want to be saved?

Eric's face stared back down at her waiting. "What's wrong?"

"Huh..." Sookie couldn't find the right words. Actually with his hands on her she was finding it hard to find any words.

"Sookie...what's wrong?" He dmanded. He started to shake her. "Sookie wake up."

Wake up, she thought? Suddenly her eyes lid fluttered open to once again Eric's face looming above hers. Only this time when she glanced down she was still dressed and back in the mansion on her bed. Gasping Sookie covered her eyes filling with tears. I was only dreaming, her thoughts pounded like a drum.

"What's wrong? You were dreaming, about what?" He asked leaning over her.

"Nothing," she cried. Her tears were streaming down her face at this point. She didn't know why ether. Was she disappointed that it was only a dream, or relived??

Sookie felt a strong pair of arms encircle her lifting her up into his arms.

"Eric I'm fine. Put me back down."

"You are not fine. You are exhausted, I'd bet." He said as he carried her up to the third floor...his floor of the house.

"What are you going to do?" She said still trying to choke back a sob.

"You are going to take a bath."
