Sam deserves and needs a real love interest - he is made out as such a good guy ad yet he gets the short end of the stick romantically - Sookie plays with him - Tara does too aand the only god one had was Daphne - who died - I suggest that th writers have Daphne's twin sister and say brother or cousin ( a male shapeshifter) come to look for Daphne and find Sam - the win sister falls for Sam and the cousin becomes his good friend - Sam just going to find relatives is a good start but he needs his kin to relate to in his town
