As I've stated before . . . Anna deserved that Oscar about as much as Halle Berry did when she beat Diane Lane out in Unfaithful. I love Halle, but she was a co-star. Diane Lane carried the whole movie Unfaithful. I wanted Halle to win that night . . . but that was BEFORE I saw Unfaithful. Then I was kind of pissed about it.

Obviously, Anna could act when she was a kid. (at least - Oscar thought so -- I saw the movie -- I didn't think she could). Many actors have proven they could act when they were children. It doesn't mean they can later. Macaulay Culkin is a great example of that. Just my opinion, but I think Anna's acting ability has sucked in EVERYTHING I've seen her in. No range and unbelievable to me.

I ADORE Sassylashes, and she loves Anna, so (for her) I won't say anything else too bad about Anna.

I agree with those that think it's great that she's not perfect looking. (Though, she was suppose to be really hot in the books). Adding positivity to my negativity, as always, at least Anna looks like your everyday girl. Not someone you'd look at twice (at least, I wouldn't), and not fake. So many Hollywood actors/actresses are fake.

I also agree with those that said Sookie is not suppose to be "stick thin." I don't find Anna "stick thin", but I understand what they meant. Sookie, in the books wears between a size 8 and a 10. Not fat, but healthy.

I do not like her acting ability, though.

I also agree that being a book reader, it is harder to accept certain people in a role. Sometimes, I wish I would have watched the series before I read the books. It really does make a difference.

bubba wont be cast in this season....i looked it up on some sites ive been trying to follow to see who they are going to choose for alcide they said they wont put him in the series because they cant get someone that looks like elvis to play the part! i know it sucks he is such a big part!

"I agree that that was Bill's motive in lying to her . He was afraid of Lorena , he knew his Maker wouldn't hesitate to kill Sookie and putting Sook in harms way goes against everything he's about , but there again , it should have been obvious to him that Sook was going to go look for him anyway. Better she walks in with her eyes open than blindfolded you know?

I dont' know , its hard to say since we still don't know the full story on the circumstances behind Bill leaving to begin with and why he gave that "8 weeks" time frame. So many unanswered questions.

I agree. Why did he put such a time frame on a visit to "Seattle"? It was a poorly constructed lie and she knew it. Sometime people so blindly in love dont want to see the bad in the ones they love. Besides, later on in the story, Eric tells Bill he almost lost everything by taking up with Lorena again. So that made me think that his visit wasnt a command from Lor- but something he may have initiated. There was no way to verify a threat from Lor-since she was dead.
Seriously, why cant see read or get a flash from Bill's mind? Was there a block placed on him prior to going to Bon Temps by the Queen?

I have noticed continuity errors and plot weaknesses that I turn a blind eye to so I can enjoy whatever I am watching. TrueBlood has its share of holes,
IE, when Bill sees his family sitting on the front porch as a memory, and just after being turned.. in an earlier episode, he said he was 13yrs when he was turned. Sure, life was harder then, but that girl of his looked 8. Humans have not changed so radically that males could reproduce at 7yrs.. ect, ect...
Dr Ludwig has knowledge that would not be common place, as TrueBlood, and vampires coming out of the coffin, are relatively new. Her knowledge must have came from yrs of experience, the same experience that has hardened her. When Jason went to the ER with gout of the dick, since it is drug related, and the ER is use to drug related stuff, even new stuff.. MAYBE the dr could handle that, but I am sure Dr Ludwig dealt with it long before he had.
My point is that in order to attempt to remain believable (and we are already stretching it with vampires, shape shifters, maenads, ect,) then characters such as Dr Ludwig simply have to be included and recurring.
From the chatter out here in cyberland, werewolves will not be too far behind. I haven't read the books, but from what I know from other movies, they tend to get messy, and like the taste of humans. How can they not need a dr in that situation? If they try to pass off another dr as having the knowledge base that Dr Ludwig has, well, they will be blowing smoke up our collective ass. Sure, if there is one Dr Ludwig, then there may be others that have simular knowledge to hers, but, what are the odds they would live in the same area? Dr Ludwig, and the actress who plays her are established characters. The fans already love the character. not in the fuzzy slippers kinda way, but in the 'wish I could tell others exactly what I am thinking like she can' way

The fans are speaking, damn it, HBO needs to listen.
