I'm a fan of the books & the show, though they are almost two separate entities, the show has given the books life. Bill being my favourite book character, but Bill portrayed by Stephen Moyer has only created a stir in me that was never there before. How about you? I still wonder what's happened to me... lol Eric in the books comes in a close second. Eric is thoughtful & has a good heart one min, the next he's a pompous monster! I'm hoping his part in the show proves just as delicious. I adore Pam, she's lethal with a sense of humour to go with it - she has effortless presence both in the books and on the show. Lafayette is undefinable, the show would have never been the same without Nelson Ellis's portrayal, luv him in this show! HBO's version of Tara IMHO is much better then her bland book character too. My newest favourite character, brought to life by the talented young actor Allan Hyde, Godric. I was shocked how upset I was when Godric went to the light. I was hoping they would part with the books storyline (as they did with Lafayette) and keep Godric alive. This young actor would have been a precious and fascinating contribution to the storyline, the sky could have been the limit.. instead it was the end. Three tears for Godric - may he be at peace.
I truly love this character. *sniffle* Superb job bringing Godric to life, Allan!
p.s. I don't suppose it's possible to gather all of the ashes... few drips of blood... no? No chance? ... ... *sniffle*
From Southern California (my heart is still in England & Rhode Island) where I hear they film a good part of the show. I used to watch The X-Files film around here from time to time. If I happen across them filming the second season of True Blood I'll be sure to share the experience here. *fingers crossed*
I'm an old Robert Pattinson fan since HP. However I was a member here long before ever reading or seeing the creations of "Twilight", though since have become a fan of that series too, my handle had nothing to do with it.
PM me anytime, love to chat about the show. I enjoy all things paranormal.
For those interested in the books, I did a quick google and found Tower.com to be the cheapest, currently.
