I've enjoyed reading all of Charlaine Harris's "Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse" books, and am thrilled that Alan Ball is bringing her wonderful characters to the small screen. Although there will obviously be adjustments made to plot and character development for television, I think that it is a great way for more people to be exposed to the work of this great Southern author!

I'm totally in love with the character of Bill, but must say that I am mightily intrigued by Eric.....can't wait to see more (and you know what I mean by that!) of him! UPDATE APRIL 2009: I have to admit that I am now totally on TeamEric......sorry, Bill!
