i would like to discuss what we do know and what will think that might lead in the next book. ***spoiler site*******

my first point is the shifters are coming out of the closest soon. i think this will be the focus of the next book. the new trouble shooter made contact with sam. i think this will says something about his role with them coming out. will sam get into politics? what will be the reaction in bon temps? just because shifters come out will sam and others all reveal themself? telling the world there are real and they are here doesn't mean each individual will admit they are one of them.
FotS is spreading like wildfire. what will they do when the shifters come out?
when vamps came out many were killed in some countries and fled to more inviting places. will this happen again? do they have a escape plan?
sookie has helped the vampires with their business. will she be needed with the shifters?
we have been told the next book will be "dark". interesting choice of words. since CH has killed off half of the vampires we have met. we have had were wars, witch wars, and FotS terrist bombing what does she consider to be dark?
there is so much to question about what we do know in the books. and decide what are hints to what may be coming.
the who sookie will end up seems to be more of an emotional debate. i would rather leave that one out. there are several threads to discuss this subject.

in all together dead. claudine comes to sookie to talk her out of going to the summit. her statement was: "going in the train of a vampire, it'll mark you as one of their world , for good. you'll never be an innocent bystander again. too many creatures will know who you and where you can be found." and as we know sookie ignores her. my question is how important is this statement in reference to the next books? at the summit sookie got the blood bond with eric. is that the "mark you as one of their world for good part? or was it what she did to find the ppl still alive? is that the part "you'll never be an innocent bystander again" now i was worried about the fots for the last part of that statement. but... i looked at the wording. and it says too many "creatures" will know who you are ect. i found that odd. creatures. obvioulsy we aren't talking vampires. as she saved them. and the statement says being on their side was bad. we aren't talking fairies as she is part fey? ( or are we) i understand the rest of the supernatual community has no love of the vampires. but... does that endanger her life? i only saw this as a threat from humans when i read it the first time. but i am not so sure now.
